“We enjoyed our stay Labor Day weekend. Sarah was an amazing host. If we needed anything she was very quick to respond. The location is the best as you have your own private beach. There is a Coleman to cook on as well as a grill and a fire pit. If you asked me what is one thing I would change would be the mattress as it’s very hard but again it’s camping. Everything else was great. I recommend this place and definitely will stay again!”
“I recently stayed here for three nights and had the most amazing weekend. These site is huge and very private. Fully stocked with gear which makes set up and break down a breeze. Sarah and Eva were so helpful in making this trip one for the books. I enjoyed this trip so much I plan to make this a yearly visit. The only thing I would suggest is if one of the port o pottys were placed designated for this site. Other than that....5 stars all around.”
“Hands down an amazing experience. This site is located right at the end of the beach and we were over 100 ft from the nearest camp campsite. The water is CRYSTAL clear and was heated by the sun. We were greeted by one of the Kiwanis members (all of who were gorgeously kind and helpful) but besides that we were pretty much just in our own little time zone at the site. There were fresh wild Maine blueberries growing on the site which we snacked on and the occasional duck, chipmunk or red squirrel saying hi. There's also residential loons who you could hear calling! We were able to purchase more wood on site for pretty cheap and with the Coleman provided items we didn't have to worry about cooking items at all. The tentrr loo truthfully was very easy to manage and never had any odor as we were provided fresh bags for every usage, but there are porta-potties on site as well. We absolutely plan on returning this this amazing little nook.”
“Our family loved this spot! Family of four with two children 4 and 6. the kids slept next to the bed in sleeping bags, plenty of room for all of us and our things in the tent. The beach is perfect, beautiful place to swim. The only thing that was lacking that I thought was provided was a pan to cook in, there were several pots but no pan or skillet. We will definitely be back, thank you!”
“I know I wrote a review last year but it appears it did not stick. This was our first experience with a Tentrr and Sarah was a very accommodating host. We went in the fall so we were not able to swim but we had the whole beach to ourselves which was awesome! The tent heated up nicely. Not sure about those little loos, but we made it work.
And you're not far from town so if you prefer you can go at one of the stores. We hope to go again when we can take advantage of swimming. The bed was comfy had sheets and blankets, but we brought our own too! The hubby did catch a fish so you can fish there. Love Kiwanis beach, it was a local favorite.”
