“My husband and I took our 11-month old baby camping for the first time and the Enchanted Forest Cosmo site was perfect for us. The campsite is under beautiful redwoods and has a picnic table and a hammock strung up within a ring of trees. Though the site feels secluded, it's only a short walk or drive uphill from the parking area and from the animals -- ducks, chickens, sheep and a charismatic llama named Cosmo. Elizabeth gave us great recommendations for things to do nearby (we visited some old growth redwoods and also went for hikes along the coast). She also let our son pet the chickens and offered to let him help feed the sheep, though we ended up spending all day exploring the area. This would be a great place for couples or families to stay. I would recommend getting in touch with clear arrival plans ahead of time since we did not have any cell service at the gate and needed to drive back a couple of miles to get a signal.”
