This was a last minute trip for us and Kelly was very accommodating. The camp was very clean and is located perfect next to the water. It is surrounded by Beautiful landscape for a quiet evening. We took our kids and our dog. Everyone is excited to go back again for more exploring.

It was a lovely site by a rambling creek— so peaceful and relaxing. But bring extra blankets and wood because it gets chilllllly at night!

Special place. You literally drive up to a private, spacious, beautiful, riverside campground. I'm a veteran camper, but was joined by a family who doesn't camp much, 1/2 of whom were not looking forward to it. And the temperature their first night was 32F/0C, and they were not prepared for that. The husband, who didn't want to go on the trip to begin with, left the TENTRR tent to sleep in his car in the middle of the night because of the cold (the family didn't heed my repeated warnings, including that they could have kept the wood-burning oven in the tent going to stay warm!). Despite this, he rated the weekend 6.5 - he enjoyed it! The rest of the family rated the weekend much higher. Next time, his wife will be sure they all have proper sleeping bags (which need be rated for MUCH colder than 32F to sleep warmly in 32F, those ratings are too aggressive). There are 3 campgrounds on the property (2 Tentrr, 1 other), but so well spaced that you can't see and basically can't hear the others except when they're driving in and out, which is rare. Kelly was friendly and 100% on top of all my emails throughout the weekend - delivered more firewood, eggs, answered questions... The farm also has a bunch of friendly animals - a beautiful dog, sheep, cows. He may not want me to say this, and may not approve, but the kids on my trip went every couple hours on animal visiting walks - they couldn't get enough, and MIGHT have pet them quite a bit. They continually spoke about the need to come back to visit the animals, which is kid-speak for they enjoyed this campground experience.

The absolute best time myself and my 6-year-old son and his cousins could have imagined. We spent a night here this summer and the kids had an absolute blast! They cried when we left because they wanted to stay and they talked about it for the rest of the summer. When my son had to write about his summer vacation once he went back to school this was all he talked about. The campsite was amazing. Right next to the creek where the kids entertained themselves all day. The farm was so beautiful and peaceful. The hosts are two of the nicest people you will ever meet. We all had the best time and are hoping to go back for another night this fall. Everyone had the best time and the kids passed out in the car immediately and slept the entire 3-hour car ride home. My dog also had a great time running around the campsite and playing in the water.

Wallenpaupack Creek Camp 1 was THE best campsite I have ever been to. It was spacious, peaceful and quiet. Far enough away from the other campsites that you didn't feel like anyone was on top of you. Kelly, the owner, was awesome and very tentative. And their farm eggs were delicious. Definitely recommend buying a dozen eggs from their chickens. Our only complaint was that their neighbor across the creek was very rude. He demanded that we stay off his property while we were walking/exploring through the creek. Additionally, he did not keep his dog on a leash and his black lab darted across the creek onto our campsite and terrified our dog. The black lab didn't attack our dog but he aggressively chased him to the point that our dog collapsed in fear. If you bring pets, I would recommend keeping them far away from the neighbors. We never went onto their property (their dog was actually on Kelly's property), but it was hugely unwelcoming and sightly frightening. Other than that, highly recommend!
