Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“Wallenpaupack Creek was the perfect break from Covid summer. Our kids had a great time swimming in the stream, and the campsite had plenty of room. All in all it was a great experience for our first Tentrr, and we can't wait to go again.”
“Wallenpaupack Creek was our first Tentrr experience a few years ago. You can find my first glowing review below. New campers should be advised however the site has lost a little of its luster. The location itself along the Creek is really spectacular. The creek is shallow, cool on hot days and easily navigable upstream with some water shoes. The Camp owners provide some creature comforts not found in other Tentrr sites, a gas grill and upgraded chemical toilet instead of the camp loo space toilet. This chemical toilet however is less than 50 paces and in full site of the campfire circle. This chemical toilet is also shared by an adjoining site, Camp 2. Nothing disrupts the privacy and location more than a stranger showing up to use the toilet while you're chatting around the fire. Camp 1 is significantly larger than Camp 2 which I can appreciate, but finding a more creative and private location for this I hope they will consider for future guests.”
“Had a great camping trip here! Easy communication with Kelly and awesome campsite right next to a private creek. Shared bathroom (porterpottie) with campsite next door but other than that, totally private. Kelly provided us with farm fresh eggs and firewood. Along with a queen bunk in the canvas tent, Tentrr provides a 5-person dome tent that's huge! Would recommend this campsite to all.”
“Recently stayed here with the hubs, kiddo and another couple and their daughter. The location is amazing - we stayed at the North site, which is directly on the water. We were able to pull our pop-up onto the site, and our friends used the glamping tent. Plenty of room for all of us, the creek was refreshing and clear, and we enjoyed being able to explore around the farm (which is just absolutely stunning to say the least).
We did scope out the other sites, and they were just as nice - just smaller. Other campers arrived our 2nd day, but we never heard a peep from them - only saw them on our walk.
Beer distributor (with ice!) is just a few minutes up the road towards town. We stopped at the coolest antique shop ever - you could find something new everyday. Was a nice little outing.
If you’re looking for a super chill relaxing few days - this is the place. Quiet, secluded. Lovely.
Met the owners -super nice and accomodating. Even had fairly priced firewood delivered to us!
The only reason for a 4 star vs 5 star - The Tentrr Glamping tent needed some love. The zipper was broken, which in fairness we were told about ahead of our arrival, but you had to keep the heavier flaps down to protect against bugs - which then made it super hot inside.
All in all - would recommend!”
“My husband and I camped here by ourselves with three dogs and had a wonderful time, despite our weekend landing in the middle of an extreme heatwave. The site is situated along a gorgeous creek complete with our own swimming hole. We loved using the available rafts. The porta-potty was sparkling clean. Exploring nearby Gouldsboro and Tobyhanna state parks was fun. We would have appreciated a finer tuned cleaning of trash left from previous campers (bottle caps, etc.) but not a big deal. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and appreciated the chance to spend time on this beautiful property.”
“Great site and lovely hosts. We had a great time swimming in the creek, hanging out by the fire and looking up at all the stars over the field. Definitely a top tentrr site (and we have seen many!)”
“This site was incredible!! Our group of 10 used Tentrr 2 years ago and had a pretty terrible experience. We were hesitant to use Tentrr agian, but we could not get over how amazing this site was! It exceeded our expectations. It's super spacious. Britt & Kelly are so nice and helpful. There's plenty of shade, but still lots of area to lay in the sun. The creek was so refreshing, we swam and floated in it all 3 days. You can see their cows, sheep and their amazing dog Rufus! The propane grill and port-a-potty were extremely helpful, every site should have this! We also got the farm fresh eggs, ground beef and steaks from them and they were DELICIOUS! Highly recommend. Grocery and stores were short drive away which was super convenient. We will definitely be back here! One of the best camping experiences we've ever had. Thank you, Britt & Kelly!”
