“We had a wonderful and comfortable time while staying at Waters Edge. It was well thought out, ready for us, and had so many little extras that made us feel at home. We had trouble finding it at first (don’t follow the GPS into the cow field!), but Bentley was waiting with his side-by-side to steer us in the right direction. Bentley and Razell were kind and responsive, and the location was just perfect! Quiet, beautiful, and relaxing. We were able to get in and out easily for trips in town and our hosts put a lot of effort into making it a special, stress-free spot. We even had a few unexpected ‘visitors’ that added to excitement and adventure (example: a big turtle!) for our kids. Next time we’ll bring a stronger bug spray to ward off a few more biting visitors, and maybe some more bait for fishing! Otherwise, Bentley and Razelle have you covered. Be careful by the waters edge with children and plan your casting well if fishing, if there was any advice to give. Otherwise, its worth the visit just to hear the loons and relax by the fire pit.”

It came very well supplied with cooking utensils (cast iron pans, a pot, spatula, tongs, etc.) and other helpful items (lantern, umbrella, ponchos, playing cards, firewood, kindling). The grounds are beautiful and it's a short drive to hiking spots or stores. Just make sure to look out for ticks. We had a really lovely stay!”

“We had the most wonderful weekend at Water’s Edge @ Ewe Turn Farm.
The hosts kindly let us know how to reach them if we needed anything, but Razell communicated ahead of time to let us know what would be there and what we needed, left us with ample supplies and kindly included the use of their kayaks which was an absolute treat for the kids.
The location is a perfect combination of private, quiet, isolated…. But also less than 10 minutes from Starbucks and Walmart if you need anything”
“We were in search of a home base for a weekend of playing the fantastic nearby disc golf courses. We came across Ewe farm, which was an ideal location. Everything about the campsite and property greatly exceeded our expectations. The hosts were very helpful but also gave plenty of space. Would highly recommend to anyone considering this site. We are excited to return!”
“Very much enjoyed our stay - the property itself was lovely, beautiful field of wildflowers right next to the waters edge. What really made it stand out was the amount of inclusions, we had access to kayaks and flotation jackets, there was a big pile of firewood to use, a grill and charcoal, fishing pole, several emergency rain ponchos and other thoughtful inclusions inside the tent. It made our trip very simple, didn't have to worry about bringing much at all!
We also had the pleasure to tour the farm and meet the friendly caretaker and animals, as well as sample some of the farm fresh eggs and maple syrup.
A great experience, we will be back next time we are in Maine! :)”
