“We enjoyed so much about our camping experience (2 adults, a 9 year old, and a 2 year old pooch) in Big Indian. The friendly and knowledgeable site owner, John, helped us get settled in, and provided a walking tour of the how-to's of the site. There was a ton of open space to feel free and move around, the creek access was both refreshing and picturesque, and the site came with more amenities (like an extra bear-proof cooler) than expected. We enjoyed reading about the area's history and seeing what day trip activities we could enjoy, as books and brochures are supplied on the night stand. Even with a brief late summer rain storm, we stayed cozy. The nights were peaceful and full of stars. There is zero cell service for about 20 minutes up to and including the site, so be ready to decompress and unplug and truly appreciate the great outdoors!”

“This is most likely the best Tentrr site in the Catskills. The hosts are incredibly accommodating and are keeping the site meticulously clean with a strong Covid protocol as well as equipped well beyond ordinary Tentrr standards (the loo is a lovely addition!). The site is wonderfully secluded yet open and inviting. We particularly enjoyed numerous dips in the bubbling creek and our dog loved hanging out in the sun, looking at squirrels playing in the trees. Our only regret is that we only booked two nights - two weeks in this spot and all the worries of the world would be gone! Thank you! We will definitely be back.”

“Our family really enjoyed staying at this camp. This was our first tentrr experience and I can see us booking again! Camp was well cared for and had everything we needed. Pluses included the large field which the kids enjoyed for running around and playing, and the proximity to the nearby creek for cooling off. The camp is secluded. Owner's property is convenient for water refills and emptying waste/trash bags. The camp owners are very friendly, really helpful with the surrounding area, and left us in peace to enjoy our time but were readily available if anything was needed. Great experience, would recommend and hope to return.”
