“Thank you John and AC for the wonderful experience! If you stay here, you won’t be disappointed. John and AC welcomed me with a cold bottle of rose and even decorated the tent with a “happy birthday” sign. It was so sweet of them!
As for the campsite, it’s perfect. You’ll have all the necessary things to camp including a grill, bunk beds, a bathroom (located outside your tent), and more. There’s also a creek nearby which you can take a dip in. I took my dog here for a swim and she loved it!
At night, you’ll see a million stars. I live in the city and I’ve never seen that many stars at night.

“What a wonderful experience! My family and I enjoyed every minute at this tentrr location. The hostesses were the kindest people and so generous. Slept like a baby in the tent, even though the first night it rained, we felt warm, dry and comfortable. The creek was such an amazing addition to the location of the tent, such fresh water and air and the clay bank was like a free spa! Although we do not camp often I would come back to the camp site in a heart beat! Highly recommended for a nice getaway with friends and family.”
“My husband and I came with another couple and had the most amazing time. We all live in the city, so this escape was the perfect way to get away and be in nature. Ill start by saying that John and AC were incredibly kind and welcoming. Their land is kept in pristine condition- everything is clean and well cared for. The swimming hole/ creek was a blast and we enjoyed taking a cool swim before grilling our dinner and enjoying s'mores by the fire! Not to mention, the actual tentrr is amazing. We are not used to camping and slept great in the tent. Thank you John and AC, we will be back!”
“A little gem in the Big Indian Wilderness!
This was our first time to this fantastic campground. From the very beginning John and AC were very responsive and took very good care of us. When we reached the campsite John took us on a short tour of the property and gave us ‘insiders’ tips on how to spend the time. It included multiple activities for kids including tadpole catching (catch and release) as well as playing with clay in the clay bank in the local creek. Our kids loved it.
The camp site was very very clean and well kept, and supplied with ample firewood.
We are definitely coming back!

“John and AC were such great hosts! They gave us good local tips and had even set up the fire pit for the first night, so it was ready for us to just light.
The location is ideal - close to some great hiking and waterfalls but also close enough to some cool towns for picking up supplies or exploring. The site itself was great too. It’s very private and even has its own creek, which was a treat. The site also had nice extra amenities, such as a charcoal grill and sun shower. We could have happily stayed on site the whole trip.
We’ll definitely be coming back and are grateful that they want to share land that has belonged to their family for generations.”

“We certainly struck gold with our first Tentrr trip staying on John and AC’s beautiful property. It exceeded every expectation and meeting John and AC was a total joy. The camp area is idyllic and totally private, you are surrounded by streams, a large meadow area is before you and a path leads to the creek in which you can take a dip or fish, the water is crystal clear. John has built a proper outhouse for the loo, there is also a BBQ, firewood and other extremely thoughtful additions like lamps, lighter fuel, salt and pepper, BBQ utensils. John and AC are so genuine in wanting you to have the best time on their beautiful property. My biggest concern was ticks, but I can happily report that I didn’t find a single one on us or our dogs! The night sky was stunning and the fireflies gave us a wonderful display. We had heavy rain all through one night but the tent performed perfectly, no leaks anywhere. We loved the campsite so much we didn’t leave it, but there is plenty of literature in the tent giving you lots of info on local things to do, restaurants, hikes and so forth, next time we may just try to drag ourselves out of paradise to try some of it! We can’t wait to go back and feel very lucky indeed that we chose Big Indian and met John and AC.”
