The site had everything we needed - a real, comfy bed with all the bedding, adirondack chairs overlooking the valley, water for drinking and washing, campfire supplies.
We booked the tentrr for the campsite but the town of Sharon Springs was a welcome surprise! A quaint little village with a couple good restaurants, cafes and shops.

“Yvonne is the perfect host. Every detail is thought of and so beautifully executed. She provided the perfect camp fire for the first night- just light and go. Also plenty of firewood, kindling and newspaper for the second night. In addition to drinking water, there were bedside lanterns for reading and the “bathroom” was clean, private and had toilet paper/ hand sanitizer galore. She is also the nicest person and provided a list of restaurants that were open during the Covid transition, as well as a bottle of wine and olive oil cake to welcome you to the property. The campsite itself is stunning, gorgeous views and very few mosquitoes (although we did bring a citronella candle and bug spray). We were sad to leave and can’t wait to return.”
“We had a great weekend staying at Yvonne's Camp Clausen Farm. The camp looks has a fantastic view looking out into a valley below. The only downside of the excellent view was that It was a bit windy, but we were still able to cook out a nice dinner and sit by the fire. If you're looking for a comfortable setup this is the spot. There's a lot of really interesting history on the estate and in the area as well. Would definitely recommend.”
“Yvonne went above and beyond to make our stay at Camp Clausen Farm incredible from the comfortable mattress, yes real mattress!, lanterns, rugs, fireside cots for star gazing, and firewood provided. She even left us a delicious bottle of wine and cheese & salami plate to enjoy! The campsite was decorated with cute pumpkins and had the perfect view for taking in the fall foliage. Would HIGHLY recommend!”
