Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“A wonderful visit for newbie campers like ourselves! The location is idyllic and the pond is such a luxury!! The outdoor shower is tricky to master but the campsite has everything we needed for a short stay. JoEllen was a very helpful host.”
“JoEllen was very sweet and the view of the pond and forest around it were just beautiful, however we felt that Tentrr should supply a new tent to the site. It was covered it what appeared to be mildew and there were cobwebs everywhere. I realize it is outside and these things can't be avoided, but then frequent replacements of tents should be made.”
“I so love this site that gives people the opportunity to be closer to nature and the wildlife. The campkeepers were so polite thoughtful and just oh so sweet. However for tentrr as this is stated as one of your signature sites I feel that someone should double scout the area for trash as well as the cleanliness of the tent. I know its for outdoors but it was just covered with so much mold, which is very hazardous, on the outside maybe due to rain throughout year. That was the only thing I was displeased with. Otherwise I will still enjoy this opportunity.”
“It’s a great location, peaceful, secluded, and in the middle of nature with a beautiful pond. Rained during our stay which was inconvenient but nothing to do with this location compared to any other camping experience. Host was super friendly. No cell service at the camp site for our AT&T and Verizon phones, but were able to get service at the end of the driveway... but that’s part of the experience getting “unplugged”. 2.5 miles from Bethel Woods Arts Center which is a beautiful location for any Woodstock or music fan.”
“This was truly such a beautiful and peaceful location! While it was very cold this time of season, we were able to enjoy the wonderful views of the fall foliage. There are also great activities around the town such as the Catskills Distillery and the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts that does a great job at showcasing the spirit of the Woodstock Festival. Additionally, we were able to enjoy a bit of the wildlife around the area such as the deer, bald eagles, and some of the aquatic life in the adjacent pond. JoEllen and Dennis were as sweet as can be. They greeted us upon arriving and made sure all was well as we left for our trip back to the city. I would highly recommend this location, especially during the warmer summer months.”
“We had a wonderful stay at Pond View! The weather was beautiful... the perfect temperature for a quick dip in the pond then laying out in the sunshine to dry off.
We spoke with JoEllen briefly when we arrived who was extremely kind and welcoming, while also gave us privacy for the rest of our stay.
We stayed over while Deep Purple played at the Bethel venue, and we loved being able to hear them vaguely in the distance while we hung out by the fire.
We would absolutely come back again!”
“We had an awesome time at Pond VIew this past weekend! Our campkeeper JoEllen supplied us with everything we needed and was super welcoming. She even suggested things to do in the area such as a harvest festival that we loved. The only thing we would suggest is checking with her beforehand about check in time because the site says noon but she let us know a few min before 12 that the site wouldn't be ready til 1. This will be helpful for travel accommodations. Other than that, we had a great first tentrr experience and can't wait for our next.”
