The campkeeper's house is only a couple hundred yards away, but the way the property and trees are situated it feels secluded and private.
We asked around in town about hikes and found one about thirty minutes away called Katrina Falls.
One quirk of this property is that, depending on which way the wind is blowing, music from the nearby outdoor music venue can be audible. It's coming from two miles away so it's faint, but it's definitely there. Depending on your mood and who's playing this can be a pro or a con.
