We were a little apprehensive when we saw that temperatures were going to drop to 25 degrees at night, but propane heaters and cosy comforters kept the tents comfortable. And there is nothing to compare to stepping out of your tent and seeing the rolling hills sparkling with frost and the sky — holy cow, the sky. We felt like we were in the foothills of the Alps, not just a few hours from Manhattan. I’m a convert. Strike that, I’m a fanatic — you absolutely need to experience this.”
