Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“The space itself is incredibly secluded despite being on private property. Finding the space was a bit difficult at night so I highly recommend getting there while it’s still light out. Gwyn, the host, was incredibly kind on the phone when I was having trouble finding the grounds. They provided wood and a lantern which was incredibly helping seeing as the battery in our lantern went out. While it isn’t a huge difference from camping yourself it certainly was nice to have a stove and a bed to work with. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants the camping experience without taking the full dive!”
“This place is magic! We stayed over Halloween night and had a great time. We felt that the communication was clear and everything we needed was available. The property is beautiful and the the bed/tent were very comfortable. Highly recommend staying here!”
“Lovely, tidy and secluded. It was so nice not to be in a over-filled state park (as much as I love them) on Labor Day weekend. The campsite is up the hill and around the corner somone's home, which is out of sight. Much further down the road is a vacation rental "Merlin's Cottage." We found it a nice balance - we felt like we had the place ot ourselves, but the sound of people gathered to play folk music nearby in the early evening was comforting. The location is convenient to a host of activities. Please note: no bike rental to kids under 18 (e.g. to kids). Yes, some of the Tentrr items could use updating. Would definitely rent from Stone Mountain again.”
“The site itself was great! We had pretty much the whole hill to ourselves, and it was peaceful during the day. We appreciated the fire logs and kindling! We also liked the tiki torches, although one of them was broken when we got there, likely from the storm that morning. Our only critique was that everything was kind of dirty, and some of the Tentrr equipment and supplies should be replaced or repaired (the loo, the shower bag, grill). Also there was no bbq sauce as Tentrr promised. It's also super loud at night with all the critters, so make sure to bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper!”
“Place was nice. Everything was clean and ready for us to use. They were nice enough to add some tiki torches for us to use. Not nearly as secluded as the pictures made it out to be. There is a house about 100 yards from the campsite. During the night there were people walking around with flashlights and we could hear others talking in the distance. Parking is about 20-30 yards away downhill from campsite. Overall we would use tentrr again, but would try for a more secluded spot.”
