“This is a beautiful answering location and everything we hoped for to get away. There is no cellphone signal so be sure that your maps and any other information you need for things to do have been printed out ahead of time.
This is a wonderful way to vacation, but it is not a hotel room, so if you want coffee in the morning be sure to bring a camping percolater. You are many many miles from coffee shops! Also bring bedding and firewood.
The Coleman equipment was rather haphazardly stowed under the tent platform so it was a bit difficult to locate some things, but that's not a big deal.
Overall it was a wonderful getaway and so relaxing. We would go again.”
“Girlfriend dog and I spent a night at this beautiful location. Views are truly amazing, especially at sunset. Coming from Arlington area to this secluded and quiet location was just amazing and the host was very responsive.
Only issue or complaint that we had was there being quite a few wasps nests in the tent itself. Both my girlfriend and I were stung multiple times and there was no wasp spray on the site. For the price in which we paid, was not super happy that we had to deal with that but went to buy some spray to handle it.
Thankfully I was able to remove the nests and get back to enjoying are stay.”
“Location was in a great area and had beautiful views all around. Very quiet, peaceful, the night sky, and sunrise was all amazing! Wouldn't recommend for colder days as needed lots of fire wood to keep it warm as the floors has gaps between the planks. But I plan to come back during the summer as the kids and I enjoyed it so much! Highly recommend the stay.”
“Beautiful spot to spend a weekend and unplug. Cell service is spotty at best, but that’s frankly the point. This site is well equipped for some easy camping.”
“The location is stunning and the tent is comfortable. Communication from Tentrr and host was the only issue. There was no grill as pictured, details about the place came very late and weren’t very thorough. No checkout instructions were sent and we got an email that we had to drive trash 5 miles to an unclear location after we already left - ended up having to return for the trash. Avoidable nuisance in an otherwise beautiful camping spot.”
