This spot is beautiful! The camp host provided a clean set up and provided the basics! The location is private and quite! 10/10 recommend!

We had a wonderful weekend visit! The view was amazing and the tent was great! It was very clean. The compost toilet was a first for us but had no problems with it! It’s not as scary as it sounds to someone who has never used one before, it’s simple to use and clean. Thankful that there is a pop-up privacy tent to go over the toilet if needed! The only problem that we had was trying to get the wood stove to start, it was a rainy weekend/cold and there was about an inch of water inside the stove. I have never used one before, the instruction book in the tent did not have details on what to do if there was water in it. We would have called for help however we both did not have cell phone reception at the site. I suggest to a camper that has never used one before and you are staying during a colder season to study up on how to use it before you get there, in case your cell phones don’t work there like ours. Since cell phone reception is little to none there I would suggest printing out before you get there local hiking spots, restaurants and other activities and bring it with you. Luckily our Google maps worked until we got there however it did not work after day one there. This site is very remote and a long drive through mountains and hills, The closest shop is about a 20 minute drive. Since our cell phones did not work we had to ask a local resident for directions to these places. If you suspect rain during your stay I suggest bringing a pop-up canopy to go over your dining area. Otherwise it was a great experience and I would definitely go back again! The trees are beautiful during October and so wonderful to see right when you walk out of the tent!

The site was clean and beautiful...but it was near some sort of firing range so all day we heard gun shots in the background. Wasn't the vibe we were looking for and hard to explain to the kids.

The perfect balance of "glamping" and "camping"

This is a very beautiful location with incredible views, and with zero cell reception you can really unplug and get back to nature. It's not entirely secluded, as you're basically camping in someone's from lawn (you ARE hidden to some degree, just not from the occasional car that drives by) but you certainly feel in the middle of nowhere! Bed was comfortable, set-up was clean and homey feeling. We would definitely stay again and have already been recommending it to our friends and family members. Thanks for the great stay! (:
