What a gem and a treat! I got a campsite tucked in the woods all to myself for a night of solitude. This tent was not near other tents or houses. The babbling brook was so nice to hear and look at. There was no Verizon cell service which I actually loved ao I could really check out and disconnect. The mattress is an air mattress so I used a mattress topper that I picked up at WalMart on the way which I was thankful for having. Only thing is I got quite cold at night because I couldn't get the heater to work and didn't have service to contact the host.

The location of this site is amazing! It was clean and ready to go, easy to find, and so pretty sitting right on the creek. The hosts were very nice and great to talk to. They even went out of their way to bring us clean drinking water! They were available for anything we needed. We had a really great stay here!

We really enjoyed our time here. We didn't get to meet Jess but worked instead with her father who was delightful and helpful. I suggest going during the week as weekends can be a bit noisy and distract from the secluded experience. I am planning to come back!

We had a really nice stay at this campsite, and would definitely return! Traveling from the city, we enjoyed the calm noise of the small river, and the location of the secluded campsite. We also made use of the fire pit and made a fire! There's a good amount of kindling around the campsite. If you plan to visit during a cold season, I recommend bringing lots of warm layers and extra blankets. There is a heater in the tent that was super helpful during our stay in October, but lots of layers and blankets were still needed.

This place is just lovely! Falling asleep to the sounds of the creek as the fire slowly goes out. Waking up to the sun coming through the trees on to the meadow of ferns covered I stunning fall colors. The large tent stays warm and cozy throughout the night. It was the perfect get away!

Amazing time! The Campkeeper were very helpful there is no signal once you are down by the tent we arrived around 8pm and they came down to help us get the heater started because it was a very cold night. Theres no shower just a a sun shower but we were able to warm some water and shower that way. Our car got stuck because its not made from such steep roads but they helped us pull it back up. Its very cozy and comfortable very private yet close to the campkeepers home if you ever need anything the sound of the creek is the best to fall asleep to. I definitely recommend if you are looking for a true camping experience out in the woods. 10min drive to the town of Bethal. Bring your own sheets alot of blankets if your going around this time of the year it gets very cold. Lots of wood to make a fire nearby too. Definitely would come back!
