“We celebrated my son's 12th birthday with a glamping weekend and we had a great experience. The hosts were so kind and responsive and made sure you had all the basics.
We were five people so we had a dome tent in addition to the adorable glamping tent. It turned out to be a VERY cold night but the host provided us with a propane heater for the dome tent which was a lifesaver. The wood burning stove in the glamping tent was very toasty as long as someone fed it wood throughout the night.
The cold weather was a bummer but the kids still really enjoyed running around and playing on the farm. It was a beautiful spot for relaxing, stargazing. We'd like to come back during warmer weather.
Gettysburg is a short drive away and we also found a great, big slide at Mount Tabor Park that was so much fun. I highly recommend this spot for a nice weekend getaway.”
