“I came with my partner and dog from NYC, and this little corner of the lake really proved the perfect place to relax, swim, read in the sun, and cook over the fire. The plot is very private with its own trail straight down to the lake and a cement lookout on the water, which I loved, but you will get some noise pollution from passing boats and a nearby train track. And while it does come with all the amenities for a comfortable stay, it is still *camping* and pretty DIY, somewhat roughing it, some come prepared! Jason was very available and communicative on what to expect and what's needed for our stay, and he gifted us a bottle of wine, which was very nice. Really the only note I'd leave for an improved stay next time is a slighted level of cleanliness on the site. Campers are expected to take their own trash, which by and large seemed the case, but a quick sweep of the property before we got there would've found others' garbage remained under the bed and quite a bit in the surrounding brush. Otherwise, it all made for an A+ stay, and we're already talking about coming back later this fall.”

“Beautiful spot! Really enjoyed the easy access to the water and the fire pit. Just don't forget to put all the food back in the car before going to sleep at night otherwise the raccoons will get it. Highly recommended getaway!”
“Jason was an incredibly helpful host and even let us use his kayak for our stay. One thing to keep in mind is that there is no refill point at this site for the 5 gallon water jug like Tentrr says there is.
The new toilet is clean and works great. However, the old, filled toilet was located right next to the tent and poop lay strewn on the ground nearby resulting in a strong smell that we could not get rid of even after shoveling poop away. Jason was very helpful with the cleaning effort after we alerted him to this issue, but the smell remained.”
“The campsite was so amazing!! Such an easy outdoors trip to go on with little ones. The location of the site was everything and more that we could have hoped for. The camp keeper Jason was Super hospitable and very friendly. He gifted us some camp essentials and craft beer! I would 1000% recommend this spot for anyone who loves to camp and be in the outdoors. We will without a doubt be returning in the near future!”
