We had a lovely time at the quiet Slippery Creek Farm with our three poodles. Jack was extremely accommodating and we loved the welcome molasses pie. Highly suggest anyone to stay here if you need some time to get away.

We had a great weekend at Slippery Creek Farm. The land is beautiful and we enjoyed walks with our dog and sitting by the fire. Really can't recommend this campsite enough!

My husband dog and I really enjoyed our visit to Slippery Creek, the host Jack was beyond awesome, he really went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable -- from the thoughtful details of the site, to his recommendations for things to do, all the way down to a welcome pie! The area is beautiful, lots of hiking and nice towns nearby. Accessing the site in our civic was fine, Jack showed us the way, and even though it was a bit chilly the stove kept us toasty through the night. I have had a couple of tentrr experiences, this was the best and we hope to be back!

Jack was a great host and the views from the site were amazing! I went with my 10 year old daughter and we both will be back. There’s also a lot to do in the area - definitely recommend Hawk Mountain. Finally, some nice trails on the property.

OK, just kidding, but she did live on a Christmas tree farm around here. Wonderfully peaceful stay with all the Tentrr expected amenities and a good few extra! Plenty of trails to roam, and the lake was very nice for a dip.

Always a great time at Slippery Creek! Been there twice already and would go back over and over again. Great spot, secluded and Jack is the best host. He even gave my kids a ride in his tractor which was the highlight of their trip. Orwigsburg has a very nice town with great cafes and restaurants. Highly suggest this spot!!

Slippery Creek Farm is a beautiful destination, and I highly recommend it. The hike down from the campsite to the pond is just under 3/4 mile, and well worth the walk. The water is constantly circulating, so bugs and algae are very minimal. Also, talk about refreshing! The water goes from refreshingly cold to pleasantly warm, with a small wading area for kids. We enjoyed canoeing across the lake and relaxing, consider bringing some extra shade! Jack is a wonderful host, and very graciously gifted us a delIcious molasses pie (colloquially shoefly pie). Would absolutely come again, thanks Jack!

The location is excellent and the view looking over the Christmas tree fields across the valley is spectacular. We had a lot of rain while there, but the area stayed dry and no leaks in either the canvas or dome tent. The tent area itself is lovely - and Jack has rugs in the tent, flowers by the fire, tarps covering the firewood and toilet, which was all so nice. The tent, beds, and general area was very clean and tidy. The swimming pond at the main house is idyllic. We went swimming there every day. And the small creek near the site is great for a fresh splash on a hot day. Jack was so welcoming and friendly. He showed us his fascinating house that he transformed from a barn. And he gave us lots of recommendations for things to do because it was a bit of a wet weekend but there was so much to do in the area that rain didn’t bother us at all. We went to the Mohammed Ali training camp (surprisingly good!), Hawk mountain, distilleries, a drive in theatre, and more - which were all great. Lots of deer around, some rabbits, hawks, chipmunks. Drive up the hill is a bit bumpy - should be fine for all cars except maybe sports cars, just take it slowly.
