We had a lovely stay. We arrived late and Jack was very accommodating. He brought us firewood and fresh flowers in the morning, and gave great tips for what to do around the area. There are some very big (also very harmless, and also pretty stationary) spiders posted up in the tent. Jack provides plenty of insect spray to keep bugs out. I recommend arriving while it's still daylight so you can use the spray before the spiders come out at night!

Slippery Creek Farm is a beautiful destination, and I highly recommend it. The hike down from the campsite to the pond is just under 3/4 mile, and well worth the walk. The water is constantly circulating, so bugs and algae are very minimal. Also, talk about refreshing! The water goes from refreshingly cold to pleasantly warm, with a small wading area for kids. We enjoyed canoeing across the lake and relaxing, consider bringing some extra shade! Jack is a wonderful host, and very graciously gifted us a delIcious molasses pie (colloquially shoefly pie). Would absolutely come again, thanks Jack!

Our camp keeper Jack was great, super helpful and very kind. The land and views were amazing, however the tent and sleeping arrangements were very disappointing. The tent itself had mold growing in it, it was clear it doesn’t get cleaned at all. The air mattresses were covered in stains and that was very unsettling for me and the rest of the group.

Amazing stay at this secluded farm! We live in Philly and it was just under a 2hr drive, which is awesome. Jack, the host, was very kind and told us about his family's history in the area, and gave us a run down of all the walking/hiking trails that are accessible from directly behind the campsite. He offered us use of his fresh-water pond, and asked us if we needed anything that we might've forgotten. His entire property is gorgeous! One thing to note is that Jack will lead you (by car) to the campsite, as it's a short drive away from his home. Some other reviews I read recommend an SUV or 4 wheel drive to access this campsite, but our VW TDI made it just fine. I believe Jack showed us an easier route to get to the campsite since we had a smaller car, which was much appreciated. Will definitely be returning when we have the time! Thank you Jack! -Alexa, Nate & Sophie

The campsite was beautiful, with great views and plenty of privacy. The campkeeper graciously shares his pond (a short drive from the campsite, down by his home) for swimming. Campkeeper provided essentials like firewood, bug spray, and toilet paper, which was much appreciated! The location is great - near Hawk Mountain, Renninger's market, and good restaurants. Our only recommendation would be signage for the trail leading up to the campsite, and make sure that campers know they need a car with off-roading ability to access the site! We were alright with our Subaru, but if we had made the mistake of bringing our other vehicle we would not have been able to make it up the steep dirt/rock trail to the camp site.

Unfortunately, I did not get to experience camping at Slippery Creek Farm… My reservation was cancelled and when I reached out to the Camp Host I was told it was a glick and it was already booked. I reached out to the Tentrr office and was supposed to get a call back and never did. The charge went thru on my card - just disputed and waiting for response. I was very disappointed with this being my 1st camping experience as it was for my 1 year wedding anniversary and bought some gear to bring with us. I look forward to maybe experiencing it another time.

We had a wonderful time at Slippery Creek Farm. There were many paths to explore and the view was great. Paddling and swimming on the pond was very relaxing. Jack made us feel at home. We'd love to go back some time.

Amazing campsite, we can't wait to go back ! Jack was a great host, very warm and welcoming. We went there with a 2 & 4yr old on their first camping experience and they had a blast. There's a beautiful pond on the property where the kids were able to swim. The campsite is very secluded and has a beautiful view. Just perfect!
