“Easily a 5-star stay. Scott was extremely responsive and so helpful. We got in later than planned but Scott was happily waiting for us to walk us through the campsites. The views are out of this world, so beautiful and serene. There are multiple little waterfall areas along the property and some of the best (and most challenging) hiking I’ve ever done. It was COLD but the little propane heater held up nicely against the freezing nights in the mountains in November. We loved our stay and can’t wait to return!”
“My husband and I wanted to get away and take our 2 year old lab with us. However, we didn’t want to be around too many people and wanted to have some space for our dog to roam around. When I stumbled upon a creek runs through it I thought I had a found a good spot. Let me tell you, this place exceeded ALL expectations. The site was so beautiful and it was completely private. We had access to the creek, our dog enjoyed splashing around in it, and we enjoyed having our morning coffee by it. Scott walked us through everything we needed to know and was so nice. We spent Saturday morning hiking some of the trails and even got to see the beautiful waterfall on the property. We had a wonderful time and we will be back!”

“Our 2nd year returning to this very spot. Tranquil, private, beautiful landscapes, great hiking, wildlife, waterfalls and a swimming hole all on site. Close to fun family outings like rafting and biking. Cook over the fire or drive into town for a casual meal. Our new family tradition to bridge summer to fall! If you have a large group of friends or family, there are 4 separate sites and room for a great group getaway!”
“What a fantastic campsite! This was our first time camping as a family: 2 adults / 2 kids + dog. "A Creek Runs Through It" had everything we needed and more! We loved the queen bunk beds and well-equipped site. The check-in shed had extra things to borrow...card games, pots/pans/griddle, and more! We enjoyed hiking on the expansive property and playing in the creek. Scott and Christine were exceptional hosts. Communication was great leading up to the trip and Scott met us upon arrival to walk us through everything. We are already talking about our next visit!!”
“We took our two boys (ages 4 and 8) for their first camping trip here, and we all had an absolute blast. The site was so private and beautiful and was completely set up with everything we could need. Scott and Christina were excellent hosts and were very responsive to any inquiries we had. We all enjoyed some amazing hikes and swimming on the property as well as cooking over the campfire, making s’mores and just enjoying some relaxing family time in nature. We also made a quick trip into the town of Jim Thorpe to explore a little there, which was only a short drive away. This was an excellent stay and I would recommend it to anyone that enjoys camping/nature.”
