“We had such a great time this weekend! Scott met us upon arrival and showed us around our site. We took a short hike to the waterfall, ate over a bonfire and had a great night's sleep. Both the campsite and the check in shed had everything you'd need and stuff you probably forgot. We already can't wait to go back!”
“Incredibly beautiful property! Our hosts were very thoughtful, kind, and generous. There is plenty of good hiking on site to explore and the waterfall deck is really breathtaking. Would definitely go again.”
“We loved our stay at A Creek Runs Through It! It is a spacious campsite, accessible by four wheel drive right up to the site. Scott and Tina were wonderful hosts and gave us a thorough orientation as soon as we arrived. They also answered our request for more loo bags promptly and even offered us a dry replacement hammock after it rained. A very clean, accommodating site perfect for new campers and seasoned campers alike. The hosts really have thought of everything you might need! - the waterfalls on this property are a must see! The water is remarkably clear. It was too cold in the water for us to swim, so if swimming is your main purpose of your stay try to visit during the warmer months. Overall 5/5 would recommend. Thank you for the great stay!”
“This was everything we hoped for and more. Scott and his wife were warm and welcoming and made sure we were situated. We had everything we could have possibly needed, I honestly could come to their site with my clothes, food, dishes, drinks, and an extra hammock (hang it up under the pavilion and thank me later) and been fine. The check in shed has anything you could have forgotten plus things you wouldn't think to pack. The site itself is beautiful. We spent this trip at our site in the cleanest water and lounging on the rocks. When we got too chilly we moved up to the pavilion (updated since the photos) and tooks naps in the hammocks and enjoyed time cooking, singing (sorry to any neighbors that heard us over the creek), laughing, and just enjoying the most beautiful location in Jim Thorpe. We will 100% be coming back and as much as we want to keep this place to ourselves we will be spreading the word about this slice of heaven. Thank you again for sharing it with us!”
“We feel so lucky to have found this spot! The site itself is beautiful and right on the creek, and the miles of hiking trails feature waterfalls and swimming holes that only make it more idyllic. Scott and Christina were such kind and generous hosts, and have clearly put in lots of thought and care to make sure their guests have everything they might need. We highly recommend!”
