“The shed was great for cooking. The trail by Bear Creek was a nice short hike for a 7 year old. The creek was great for a quick dip to cool off in summer. Scott was nice in dropping off refill of 5 gallon jug of well water for showering after a particularly grimy day of biking - the steep slope down to the campsite is recommended only for 4WD vehicles - I managed to get up it once in my Toyota Sienna 2WD minivan but did not want to chance it again and bother Scott with towing us up. Proximity (10 minute drive) to Pocono Whitewater and biking shuttles in Jim Thorpe was a huge plus. Will be back to try hiking at LeHigh Gorge State Park and Class 2/3 dam release rapids next year and more biking routes!”
“This was a phenomenal place to stay! We were completely enchanted by the creek, the trails, the waterfall and swimming hole. I thought we were signing up for a pretty spot near a creek - the reality far exceeded my expectations! On top of the rugged and unspoiled beauty and seclusion, the hosts were extremely nice and helpful. I definitely want to return, perhaps next time with friends booking at their other campsite.”

Scott and Tina were very accommodating hosts. They have an amazing (and endless) property featuring a peaceful creek and majestic waterfall. They greeted us with a trail map and gave us some tips about where we might want to adventure during our stay.

“Kim and I were traveling from Austin, Tx to Boston Ma. Instead of making the 9.5 hour trip back from VA. We ended up doing one more night at this site. I couldn’t have been happier. I traveled from CA and I can say this was the best spot we stayed at. Host are great and the land is even better! Highly recommend it!”
