This property was stunning. We loved waking up the the views of the mountains, and sounds of nature. The stars at night were spectacular. All of the basic necessities you need were provided, and plenty of wood for fires. Make sure to bring extra water, and if you need to run to town to get anything it’s a quick 10 minute trip. Woodstock is such a cute town, and we hiked to a Platte Cove waterfalls, an easy hike to a beautiful spot! Hera was a wonderful host and provided us with plenty of information before our stay.

We had an amazing time at Woodstock Mountains and Ponds. The campsite was clean and tidy, with plenty of fire wood and other small amenities. The property was spectacular...the grass kept short for our little ones, groomed paths along the creek to the ponds, plenty of splashing and exploring for all! This may have spoiled us for all future experiences. We look forward to returning next year!

Too humid spot during the day and too many bugs. The tent was too far from camp fire place and the parking spot was 400ft away from the camp fire because the camp keeper told us not to drive on the grass. But we saw many driving paths all over the field. It was ridiculous. She also told us to take all our garbage with us, but the car was full with just garbage so we had to go back and forth to throw away on the last day. That's why it took longer to check out. The tent keeper came over at 1:30pm and yelled at us for not leaving. She said her brown basket was stolen which we didn't even see. She even checked our car, but later it was found inside the tent. She kept picking up grass and said it was our garbage so we had to take it. It was really weird saying that the grass and weeds were ours. We got really upset at the last moment. We are asians and we all felt that it was a sort of racism because we cleaned the spot really hard. We even took pictures if you need evidences. I would never ever go back there again and never recommend the space to others. Such an awful experience for everyone.

Had a wonderful first Tentrr experience at Hera’s beautiful and very well maintained site! The location is perfect - private but close to Woodstock. Enjoyed the babbling brook, views of the meadow and mountains, and gazing at the stars around the camp fire. Highly recommend and would absolutely come again! Thank you Hera!

Staying at Hera's Farms has become a family tradition that we look forward to for birthdays and anniversaries. It is a truly magical place.

Many previous reviewers used the word "magical" to describe this short, and that word is completely accurate. Campsite looks out over an expansive, golden meadow, with more bird activity than a botanical garden. There are the peaceful sounds of the babbling brook nearby, the frogs in the pond, and the bird sounds, and nothing more. Complete privacy and serenity. Hera and her family supply unlimited firewood, and by unlimited I mean that there is no way one could (or should) use it up. The fire pit and seating areas are in great condition, as is the tent, wood stove, shower, and everything else. Convenient parking 100 ft from the tent, yet mostly out of sight to enjoy nature. Swimming available in the pond and some nice grounds to wander in. Locate among the Catskills and near Overlook Mountain cannot be beat, especially with downtown Woodstock coming alive with art, music, food, and more. Hera provided nice touches like a broom, plenty of toilet paper, and guide books, but best to bring your own filtered water, cooking utensils, and an extra comforter for the air bed. Highly recommended site and host for a peaceful upstate weekend, or longer!
