Had an amazing stay at Hera's campsite. She's a great host who greeted us, gave us all the background we needed and had everything set up perfectly when we showed up. There's a giant meadow that was perfect for running around in with our large dog and the surrounding forest and hills are full of beautiful streams. The site both had lots of privacy and was super close to Woodstock. This was our first Tentrr stay and I'm worried I might be spoiled for others. Perfect weekend getaway.

Hera was an incredible host, full of useful local knowledge and stories. Her site is so beautiful, nestled in a meadow with views of the mountains. We had the most incredible star-filled nights and awoke to mist rising off the grass, it was heaven. If you're not as lucky the site is close to Woodstock and easy to do a mix & match of culture, food and nature.

The location of this campsite is spectacular. It is right next to a small creek and perfectly located on the edge of an expansive meadow with views of the Catskills. There is no-one else around. Completely remote and spectacular and yet only a 10 minute drive into woodstock. Also lots of firewood supplied for campfires!

This was our first camping trip and everyone loved it a lot. Thanks to Hera letting us use her gears, kids (3yrs, 6yrs) had so much fun fishing and kayaking in the pond near the camp site and still talk about it as the most exciting part of the trip. We were worried about camp loo condition but we all felt comfortable about it. The location was perfect that only needed short drive to woodstock town and tons of hiking spots. We didn't have enough firewood for the first night and that was quite a trip to bring more firewood in the middle of night (pitch black dark w howling sound). Make sure to keep enough firewood before getting dark!

My wife, son and I stayed at Hera's and had a great time. The property is very big and clean. The location was great being only 10 minutes away from Woodstock. The ponds had small fish that my son was able to catch. We would stay here again.

We stayed at Hera's glorious campsite for three nights in June, and had such a nice time. The property is beautiful, and the mountainous view from the campsite is lovely. And after talking with Hera, we learned a bit about the property's history, confirming that it is indeed special, with connections to ancient Greece, literature, and David Bowie. Hera is a fantastic host—warm and super interesting and charismatic. We cornered her to talk, but I'm sure she'd be quite hands-off if you are looking for some more privacy. The property itself is remote enough where we felt like we had privacy, and close enough to Hera's home on the property and Woodstock nearby that we didn't feel too far away from civilization. The tent/cabin is located in the shade near a small running creek, and we woke up comfy and rested, and not in a total sweat which was a big bonus. I grew up camping in a tent on the ground in the woods and was reluctant to go "glamping," but the setup is nice in that you could get the best of both worlds if you choose. I especially loved the quiet, sunny mornings reading with coffee in the Adorandiak chairs, then heading into town for some yummy food, returning to chill and cook food on the open fire. Overall, we had such a nice time that we definitely had that "we should buy land out here" conversation. We will definitely be back, Hera!

We had a wonderful first experience with Tentrr. Hera was an excellent host and was very welcoming and helpful. Swimming in the spring fed pond and falling asleep to the serenade of frogs was very relaxing. There were fireflies in abundance at night which confirmed the healthy environment. Loved it!
