Hera's property was wonderful. Perfectly peaceful, quiet, and the stars at night were amazing! She wasn't able to meet me before my check in because of my late arrival, but she did leave a packet for me with activities to do around the area and detailed instructions on how to leave the Campsite! She supplied an endless amount of firewood which I didn't realize how beneficial that would be until I got there! Firewood goes by so quick, and is expensive when you are buying it per bundle at a local gas station. I would recommend Hera's campsite for a couple or a small group of friends (4 campers is the max). The space is great and lot so of spots to roam around and so close to Woodstock or Overlook point for a hike.

My husband and I just camped at Here's. We found it to be peaceful and rejuvenating! The symphony of frogs at night lulled us to sleep, as the view of the mountains made the visit even more relaxing. Hera is an absolute love! She is not only charming and kind, but just a delight to talk to! The site was very easy to find yet tucked away enough from everything for privacy. The tent itself is very cozy. Although nights and mornings were a bit chilly, we didn't use the wood stove. The mattress surprised me at how comfortable it was! The water and firewood were easily obtainable and easy to replenish for the next campers. Hera is a gracious host who we hope to be able to visit again soon!

Let's talk about the good. I have 2, 3 and 4 years old kids that came and they really had fun. They played in the pond and there are toys provided for them to catch minnows by Hera. Hera is well organized and provided us activities option and detailed instructions. She is very friendly and she provided us unlimited supply of firewood. What we didn't like is the water gallon container has floating objects inside. It's supposed to be drinkable but the water is dirty. Sunshower has molds inside so we did not get to use it - luckily we have a bucket we used to fetch water from a faucet that is far to get for shower. We used wheelbarrow provided by Hera and loaded the plastic gallon container with water that is provided. Full disclosure, i am a first time camper so my expectation is probably not on par for campers. The grass in the tent area is short but the grass few feet away is so tall that i was afraid for my kids to play on because of the ticks. I have seen a tick on my 2 years old (good thing i sprayed him prior so there's no tick bites). I found 2 ticks on me and in the car. Lastly designated parking is far which is so hard to unload stuff and reload. My single mom friend ended up driving closer which is not allowed because it is so hard for her to load her stuff on the wheelborrow and take it to the tent area. Overall, kids really had fun which makes it worth it.

Hera’s farm was a wonderful weekend getaway. The tent is secluded with an amazing view of the mountains. She provided as much firewood as we needed to stay warm on the chilly fall evenings. And the campsite is very close to Woodstock and everything in the surrounding area. Highly recommend!

Hera's campsite was a great escape for the weekend! The campsite sat across from beautiful mountain views and surrounded by ponds. Hera was very welcoming, and showed us around the property. We truly enjoyed our overnight trip and loved being able to sit on the Adirondack chairs and watch the beautiful sunset.

Beautiful site. Amazing host. We had the best time introducing our four year old son to camping. We can’t wait to go back.

This campsite was amazingly peaceful and the mountain views were breathtaking! Hera was wonderful with guiding us and had a great little folder full of wonderful things to do and see in the area awaiting us inside the tent when we arrived. Even though it rained for the majority of our stay, we will definitely be back! The tent kept us perfectly dry and the stove in the tent was perfect for drying out our clothes after we explored outside a bit in the rain. We brought our dog and this is the first time she's been able to be off leash on a camping trip, so she was a happy puppy. Highly recommend Hera's farm and Tentrr in general. We will be back! :-)
