“Hera is so sweet and helpful, and her property is beautiful! She gave us the lay of the land when we arrived and then left us to enjoy our stay. The campsite felt totally private and the view is stunning! It's very close to the restaurants, grocery store, etc. in Woodstock, which we really liked (we were wimpy and had a couple of meals in town haha). There are also so many great hikes in the area -- we didn't do any research ahead of time and were able to easily decide where to go using Hera's maps.
This was our first Tentrr experience and tent and supplies exceeded our expectations -- everything was in great condition. The wood stove inside the tent was so nice for the chilly nights (even in August) and even though it poured the whole first night, we didn't get wet at all.
A couple of notes about the site: you probably will totally lose cell service quickly after arriving at the property (and it's spotty in the area in general) so it wouldn't be a bad idea to download a map to your phone. Also, the pond on Hera's property is shallow and not particularly clear so keep that in mind if you were planning to swim (as an ocean girl, I couldn't brave it).

“Woodstock Mountains and Ponds is a beautiful site 5 minutes from Woodstock. The camp site sits in a large open field surrounded by mountains. There are two ponds on the property and a nice stream in the woods to walk beside. I came with my five year old daughter and we had a fabulous time cooking out, playing, walking in the woods, grilling, cooking smores and visiting woodstock. Hera the campkeeper was lovely, helpful and responsive to all of our needs. We will definitely come back to Woodstock Mountains and Ponds and i highly highly recommend it to anyone interested in an easy few days of camping. The tentrr set up is fabulous and the location beautiful”

“This was our first Tentrr experience and we loved it! The camp site is well equipped and the location is stunning, overlooking a field and gorgeous mountains with a creek and swimming pond just behind the tent. What made our experience even more magical was Hera herself. She's a truly fascinating woman and a treasure trove of information on the area. The town of Woodstock is a short drive away as well so if you need a break from cooking on the fire or want to beat the heat, a coffee shop or restaurant are close by--the best of both worlds! Can't wait to return.”
