“Peaceful stay on the river. This was a last minute booking since our original tentrr choice got cancelled on us, but we were very happy with this second option. A winding farm road (past cute pigs and chickens) takes you to a secluded site on the river, 20 yards from the parking area. As long as you stay on the dirt and mowed grass path down to the water you should avoid getting poison ivy, but in case you do come in contact with it, Steve left some helpful urushiol oil remover inside the tent, along with some other extra supplies campers may have forgot to bring. We ended up keeping our dog tied up close to the middle of the site so she wouldn't get into any poison ivy. We loved that the tentrr loo had it's own private stall, and there was even a shower nook set up that looked amazing, although we didn't end up using it, we spent most of our time on the river- so many fish.”
“A great private site right on the Merrimack river. We had good bass fishing during our time there. Steve is an excellent host. He had camp attendants split plenty of seasoned hardwood for camp fires. I would have given five stars were it not for a good amount of poison ivy around the site and the camp attendants, although very friendly and helpful, could be a bit long winded. Over all it was a fantastic site and a great weekend. Thank you Steve.”
