Julie was a wonderful host as usual, and it’s so nice to just pack up our clothing, food, dogs and go! We have now stayed at both of the Evensong Farm sites and really loved Autumn Olive! “What a fantastic couple of days in this beautiful spot. Handily located but wonderfully remote and peaceful, Julie has got this small site set up brilliantly and has clearly given it a lot of thought and care - from the shower and well-maintained compost toilet to the access paths being kept in great condition and the plentiful suply of firewood at reaosnable prices.
We're regular campers, but only in the US for a short time and do not have our gear with us - and so to have pretty much everything we could need provided made for a fantastic stay. The main tent was very comfortable and well kitted out, the additional tent spacious, Though one day was wet - the site was well geared for it with the communal covered area and a stack of board games.
We loved the campfires, the stars, the sounds of the birds and playing around the creek.
The communication with Julie before the stay and whilst there was excellent . The guide to the site and the surrounds was really useful and comprehesive.

And the kitchen add--on pack was brilliant - everything you need to be fully self sufficient (apart form the food which you should pack yourself!).”
