“The camp site was wonderful. It has a great layout and flat ground to park. The solar lights were very helpful and stayed on all night so we could see where we were walking. We enjoyed the property, hiking and spending time floating down the creek. We also had a chance to explore the area and went paddle boarding nun the lake and hiking in the park. The owner was super helpful in giving us specific places we could map to drive to so we could enjoy the best views and hikes in the area.”
“This is a gorgeous campsite! Sarah, our campkeeper, has provided everything anyone could need and more for enjoyable camping, and is readily available to help with questions, etc. My husband and I are 78 and 77 years young, respectively, and I only wish I had paid more attention to the description that said” on a ridge overlooking the Tohickon Creek”! For me, it was quite a steep walk down to the creek, and not a place to launch kayaks, which we had brought, hoping to do! (We were a little deceived by the photos of paddle boarders on the creek!) Putting that disappointment aside, we had a wonderful experience with our adult children and grandchildren visiting during the day. The weather was great, no rain in sight, but very hot (90!) during the day, (I would recommend a canopy over the kitchen / picnic table area as there is little shade there). The temperature cooled after 6 pm and the evening campfires were so peaceful and beautiful under the stars! Our dog Bella LOVED playing in the creek, and it was a great place to cool off for all of us! We live locally and are very familiar with the wonderful opportunities around us like Lake Nockamixon, but this campsite provided the perfect little getaway in total seclusion from the busy world outside, where we could just “ be” with nature and our loved ones! “Me and my boyfriend enjoyed our second trip to camp Nox, so beautiful no matter the season. The private location and little hikes near the tent always has kept us coming back! The hosts set you up with everything you need and answer quickly. The stars are incredible and it’s a quick trip to the lake! We can’t wait to come back to camp nox”
“Beautiful grounds tucked away in the woods. Our experience was everything and more. Sarah , our campkeeper, was attentive and made our stay very easy and relaxing. We slept 7pp comfortably- 2 pop up tents and the tent provided. And was more than enough room for another on the future . We had rain and sunshine all weekend but bugs we’re not an issue! There was plenty of shade to keep cool during the hotter moments. Wish we could’ve stayed longer !”
