“We thoroughly enjoyed this camp site, despite a night of thunderous rain (tent held up great!) and a day of drizzle. Hosts were very welcoming and attentive, checking on us during the storm and replying to any questions quickly. The setting was perfect for our group - adults and kids, some of whom were camping for the first time. Bring water shoes! The creek is kid-friendly, but also fun for adults, and very close by. The campsite was well-marked and largely shaded, and it even had a tent over the loo! Fire wood and water were provided, which was very much appreciated. Only reason for 4.5 stars instead of 5 is that there was some broken glass beside the creek and we could hear lawnmowers and a bit of traffic from the site. There's not much to be done about it, and it wasn't very load or obtrusive. If anything, our first-time camping friends probably appreciated the reminders of civilization! All in all, a great stay and one we'd recommend to a group that wants solid nature time without going off the grid.”
“This was a great site for glamping! The site included a tent with bunk beds with air mattresses, a fire pit, and a picnic area for meals. It's located near beautiful Lake Nockamixon and only a short walk from a creek. If you would like to get away and enjoy a quiet and peaceful weekend this site is the place to do it.
There is very little noise or light pollution. Sarah and Kevin are thoughtful hosts who included guides on nearby activities, supplies for smores, and instructions with the site. We were able to bring our two dogs along, which was great since we didn't have to worry about putting the pets in overnight care. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this site to future guests.”
