Camp Sugarbush was great. We went with our 3 year old and two dogs and everyone thoroughly enjoyed our 2-night stay. Cameron was a great host and had a fire going for us when we arrived that night and helped truck our stuff to the site. We lounged around most of the day, reading, drawing and taking in the sun and view. There’s a short little loop on the property which was perfect for a young kid. The town of Honesdale also has a bakery that offers delicious scones, if you’re into that sort of thing.

I've camped frequently for over 40 years and I thought our 5-night stay at Camp Sugarbush was especially wonderful -- wide open spaces, beautiful views, starry nights, lots of extras. Cameron, the campkeeper, was exceptional. Besides being a thoroughly likeable guy, he was ready to offer whatever he could to make our stay more enjoyable -- shuttling us and our supplies on his quad, actually lending us a couple of speakers for an electric guitar one of us brought along, extra kindling, etc. He was always just a text away from giving help, if needed. We're planning another trip in the fall around peak leaf season. With the wood stove and all the extensive forested views, that's going to be a killer stay!!

We had a wonderful weekend at Camp Sugarbush. The site had everything we needed including ample space (we had 4 people but site could easily fit 6), chairs, firewood, cooking utensils, an awesome hammock, and a comfortable (as camping could be) bathroom situation. The site was a beautiful open field surrounded by the forest which was idea for sunsets and enjoying the sunshine during the day. The site also had a small pond which had a enough space to row around in the kayaks the host provided. This would be excellent for a family with children to entertain. The host was a great communicator who provided everything we needed, and checked in regularly to see if we needed anything else. Overall this was a great experience and we would recommend to all campers.

If you are looking for a semi remote campsite that still has the convenience of nearby towns and activities, Camp Sugarbush is the way to go. Despite our last minute booking, Cameron made sure that the site was clean, organized, and well prepared for us. He is a friendly, laid back kind of guy who is very easy to get in touch with if you need anything. The ATV/ wagon shuttle to and from the parking area was very helpful for our gear and my son loved riding in the wagon. We had had an excellent time walking the trails, paddling in the kayaks, and star gazing at night. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes and expect to get a little muddy at times. My dogs loved this trip and they made friends with Cameron right away. We would definitely return to this site again! P.S. Definitely get the burgers from Cameron. They were fantastic!

We had a great two nights at Camp Sugarbush, the surrounding is beautiful and peaceful. Wide-open to stare at the stars all nite. Cameron was great at communicating and super helpful. He helped us get to the camp with his 4 wheelers, able to pass a damp area. Otherwise, make sure you bring a pair of boots. Cameron provided us with plenty of wood and the necessary to cook. Thanks again!

Stayed at Camp Sugarbush in Aug 2020 and had a great time for our girls trip away (with kids and dogs). Cameron was super accommodating especially since we had torrential rain one day/night and he fortified both tents with tarp so we stayed dry and safe. The campsite is in an ideal location, safe yet remote but easy to get in to town, go on hikes, swim/tube at Skinners Falls and Cameron is easily accessible to assist with our needs. Plates/utensils/cups, fire torch, extra tarps for the pop up tent and more were provided. Pseudo-glamping is the way to go and great for families with kids and dogs. Thanks, Cameron!

Camp Sugarbush was our first tentrr experience and we are sold! It's definitely the way to go for privacy. Camp Sugarbush is set up perfectly for the sunrise and sunset. Lots of space. There is no people or road noise. Cameron was very accommodating and very easy to talk to. My husband rarely likes to talk to people, hence the tentrr experience being the way to go for us, but when talking with Cameron he wouldn't shut up. Lol. Very personable, in fact, if it weren't for the fact it's a little over two hours drive for us I would try to set him up with our daughter. In conclusion, camp Sugarbush was definitely a great experience and I recommend booking a stay there.

We had a great stay! The location is very private and has a lot to offer. Cameron was very helpful and super easy to contact. It’s really nice being out there completely alone without having to worry about neighboring campers.
