Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“John's site was absolutely amazing. I have shared it with many friends who just loved our pictures. Our two dogs had a grand time jumping into the creek with every chance they got. John came with his ATV and helped us get all of our stuff down to the site (it was a lot of stuff!). In all my experiences with both TENTRR and Airbnb, I have yet to find a most warm and accommodating host.
John has extra amenities you'll be thankful for once you're there (extra chairs, small table for your coffee/tea/repellent, lounge chairs, a small cooler with ice, a place to put pots/pans and a huge water dispenser). The unlimited wood free of charge is a plus since it does get cold at night. Stop scrolling and book John's place, you won't regret it.
P.S.: The Old Bat Factory (Gas Station) has amazing sandwiches and local pastries to take to the camp with you (and even back home).”
“We had such a lovely time! This was our first Tentrr experience and we couldn’t of had a better time. It was 5 of us, two adults and 3 kids. The campsite was clean and well stocked. The bed was comfortable, the extra tent nice and cozy for the kids. The area was beautiful, the stream so peaceful. The kids had fun exploring it and wading in it. Make sure you have water shoes. The outhouse was nice and private. The area is beautiful and the town of Hancock didn’t disappoint in its quaintness. Stargazing in the field was amazing. Johnny was so friendly and accommodating! Drove our gear down to the campsite and back up when it was time to go. Definitely worth the trip and we would love to come back!”
“This was such a great experience. John was an incredible host! He even supplied us with more firewood when we started to run out. I couldn’t recommend this place enough! Stayed here with my Girlfriend and our two little dogs and it was a perfect get a way. Beautiful place! I’ve never seen so many stars in the sky. This pictures of this place don’t even do it Justice.”
“I was skeptical about the site being so close to the water but it was incredible. The sounds of nature and the stream was very relaxing! Great sun/shade ratio location, you can see a lot of stars at night and the campkeeper was awesome. He supplied us with wood and other useful items there, check-in and out times were negotiable. Although there wasn't service there the town area was close by and was able to make calls/texts just a few miles back up the road. Overall super satisfied with my choice in tentrr rental. Will be revisiting!”
“Amazing experience!!! I can't recommend Sands Creek Camp enough. The site is incredible! A real treat to stay there. Since the beginning to the end it was just perfect. Johnny was such a great host. The site was amazing, falling asleep to the sound of the creek was just magical. I will definitely go back! I recommend it 100%.
Hancock was a cute little town, we spent hours kayaking the Delaware, made delicious food over the campfire, Johnny even took us on an adventure through is beautiful property. We didn't want to leave. Thank you so much Johnny!”
“John's property is absolutely STUNNING and he is a fantastic and gracious host. The campsite is located on a beautiful bend in Sands Creek with ample room for creeking and exploring. The rest of his expansive property across the street is truly beautiful and offers enough hiking and views to fill up the entire day.
We loved cooking over the campfire, listening to creek run at night, and exploring the woods on and off the beaten path. We will be back!”
“We had a great stay at Sands Creek Camp. John was a wonderful host and provided us with all the amenities you would need for a weekend of glamping (the only thing you need to bring is bedding and pillows). The firepit outside and the wood stove inside the tent kept us nice and cozy, and John made sure we had more than enough firewood. The creek, fresh air, and star-gazing rounded out a wonderful and relaxing weekend!”
