“We had such a wonderful time at Sands Creek Camp! Our host, John, was so accommodating, providing us with ice, firewood, charcoal and even extra bedding. He also helped us unload everything and checked in for a few minutes each morning to see if we needed anything. The campsite (located down a secluded trail) itself is very cozy and private, with plenty of room for our group of six. The creek is so refreshing and peaceful, at night especially. This is an excellent spot for any group, whether you're a couple or a family with children. We will definitely be visiting this site again in the future!”
“John's camp is perfect. It is situated in a completely private alcove right next to a running stream and it couldn't be any more peaceful. John went out of his way to make sure we were okay and had everything we needed (and more!), including a lift down to the site with our bags in his trunk. We didn't have any mosquitos or other animals except for one deer sighting when we first arrived. Our stay at John's camp was way better than we had expected as first time TentRR-ers. Highly recommend!”
