“This is a unique campsite. We had total privacy. The tent overlooks a beautiful section of the Upper Esopus Creek and is close enough that you fall asleep to the sounds of the water rushing over the rocks. We enjoyed a dip in the clear water of one of the private swimming holes on the campsite. Pierre was welcoming and offered helpful advice on the area.”
“Had a fantastic time here. The location is right by a creek with an awesome swim hole. The site is very private and allows for up to 14 campers. The camp keeper Pierre has done a great job of building some infrastructure that allows for up to 14 campers. We were only a family of five and all fit into the tentrr tent with the bunkbed. We can’t wait to come back!”
“This was a very last minute plan for one night only and Pierre was extremely friendly and accommodating. He has carved out a beautiful slice of paradise on the banks of the Esopus and I was just sorry we couldn’t stay and hang out for longer. Looking forward to returning with our kids at some point - if we’re lucky enough to get a reservation again!”
“Fireflies, refreshing swimming hole, and wonderful host! We loved it so much, we came back in October! just hat we needed, to rest, and recuperate after the first Covid surge.”
“This is the perfect campsite, beautiful, magical, and Pierre is a wonderful host! This was our second visit and both times were truly relaxing and wonderful! (I have tried to review this a few times, but the app is wonky.)”
“As soon as we arrived at the campsite I walked around with a gigantic smile gushing - Upper Esopus Creekside Camp is just beautiful and perfect. Everything is set up to make it easy to camp and enjoy yourself. The tent stayed warm, even when we woke up to freezing temps. There was plenty of space to cook and prep food. We loved listening to the creek as we fell asleep. Pierre was super helpful and accommodating, and you can tell he loves the land and hosting visitors. This was my first time camping - I've always considered myself NOT a camper, but this has totally changed my perspective. I can't wait to go back, and plan to bring friends when I do!”
“It was our first time using TentRR and it was great. The camp site was on a perfect setting with a beautiful creek within steps of the tent. It comes with everything except for food, drinks, and bedding. Our host, Pierre was very friendly and gave really good recommendations to nearby places to see, eat, and visit. Will definitely be back.”
“This site was wonderful, and Pierre was a great host. The terrain is beautiful, with lots of nice walking in the woods and along the stream. The main campfire was really well set up for cooking, and there were multiple additional fire pits in all the other sites. We were just a party of 3, but you could happily do a much larger group with additional tents. Pierre gave us a short tour of the area, and we met his adorable cat (pictured in the Tentrr profile for the site). The beds in the main tent were really comfortable and the wood stove kept us warm. We had such a great time, and would definitely return. Thanks, Pierre”
