“This is our second visit to this beautiful camping site! Pierre is a wonderful host as always. It was beautiful and clean and totally secluded even though it was a holiday weekend. We found a less traveled hiking trail to a great view. It was a perfect weekend as always!”
“Campkeeper Pierre is great! For those who are light sleepers, be aware that there are coyotes howling most of the night, dogs barking in response to the coyotes howling as you are close to a neighborhood, and the sound of large trucks rushing past on the nearby main road unfortunately tends to drown out the creek. There is also a bobcat in the area, so be careful at dusk/nighttime!”
“This place is a total gem. Everything is perfect at this site - the mountains, creek and surrounding woods are just beautiful. Pierre is a fantastic host and so fun to chat with. We went on an unseasonably cold September night and the wood stove kept the tent nice and toasty! It’s a great spot for a large group, dogs and kids. We will definitely be coming back very soon!!”

“Pierre’s gorgeous piece of nature has an embarrassment of riches in both space and things to do. Choose one swimming hole or meander up creek to the other. Relax on the yoga deck overlooking the creek and watch the light change. Wander uphill to the top of the mountain, lounge in the hammock, or play frisbee in the clearing by the well-appointed lean-to. Our group of 13 did all this and more while we were there. The luxury of space and solitude in this time of pandemic was the perfect de-stress reset.
So much bang for your buck. Pierre was a thorough, thoughtful and informative host. We had a great time. We’ll look back on it as one of the restful highlights of a summer with too much anxiety and uncertainty.
