Fantastic location, really welcoming set-up, wonderful host - we had a truly restorative visit and spend two days hiking the Catskills with Pierre's Tentrr as a really great "home base."

This location is fantastic! The view of the creek is lovely, and it's near so much great hiking for the Catskills High Peaks. Great access to firewood, and really nice cooking set-up. We were just two people, but I can see this location being great for a larger group. Pierre was really helpful with getting us settled and giving hiking advice.

Pierreā€™s camp was amazing! My friends and I had an easy drive up from NYC and lucked out with the perfect weekend. Pierre was super helpful with welcoming us to the campsite and offered plenty of suggestions for places to swim on the property and anywhere else we wanted to go. The site was spacious and offered nice shade out of the sun. Will definitely come back!

What an amazing experience!!! Really. There were 7 of us. Some with a bit of outdoor experience and some came in with 0. This place is friendly to all levels. There are things to do around the area but we were surprised that all we wanted to do is to enjoy the place where we stayed. The creek was so beautiful... Down the alley along the creek was a platform with 2 chairs facing the creek. My wife said it was like heaven on earth. I placed my telescope on the platform and did a little star gazing. The alley had beautiful flowers along both sides. The natural pool was up to my shoulders with clean, crisp and refreshing water. We absolutely loved it and so did our 2 dogs. The outside kitchen was really nice and it accommodated all of us. We used a fire pit for the grill and built a fire for the BIG marshmallows :). We learned about "leave no trace behind" and appreciated nature even more. Pierre & Michelle were very accommodating, informative and friendly. Pierre & Michelle - thank you for the wonderful experience. We will always remember it.

Pierre's site is 100% MAGIC. I took my photography collective there for a meetup event with a few local photographers and models and it was everything we dreamed of and more. The land is pristine and beautiful with creek access, a meadow, and of course beautiful wooded areas. There are also lawn areas for playing lawn games. He built us a grade A bonfire where we made s'mores and told ghost stories. The Tentrr site is just yards away from the creek. Pierre has taken it upon himself to improve upon the site, going above and beyond what is usually at a Tentrr site. There is a lovely little lighted canopy over a table, a hammock, fire pit, and "spa" (solar shower and commode). At night, the view of the sky is worth what you pay alone. Pierre knows a lot about the constellations- if you're lucky maybe he will point some out for you. But truly, better than the site is Pierre himself. He's among the most genuinely kind people I've ever met. He and his wife are gems and I sincerely hope you have the privilege of staying with them. You won't regret it.

Beautiful creek side property and with Pierre's extras we had plenty of room for our large group! Was wonderful to escape the city and enjoy the fall colors and campfire at night! Would love to go back when its hot and enjoy the swimming hole!

Highly recommend this spot! Beautiful location very close to hiking and can't beat the Esopus just feet away.

This site is one of the most well-equipped ones I've stayed at and Pierre is a wonderful host. We planned a girls trip and had so much fun! We loved the small trail to the swimming hole, ample seating around the fire, the option to add extra tents to the site, and the open grassy area to play lawn games. Although we arrived late, Pierre checked in with us to show us around, and also checked in the next morning. Plus, he gave us the most delicious gigantic tomato from his garden for our sandwiches! Thanks for having us and we'd definitely love to come back again.
