“Great place to relax and unwind. Exactly as described tent with a mattress, outdoor camp commode. Take your sleeping bag, heater and other camping accessories along.”
“First off, our host Joe was great! He was very responsive and did his best so that we enjoy our stay. He was helpful, recommended some activities in the area and aided anything else we needed. The actual Tentrr experience on the other hand wasn’t as great. The mattresses were air mattresses which weren’t filled properly with air and were very uncomfortable. The location had no lights and we were not allowed to drive in with our car so we had to carry everything on foot. If it was a regular camping I wouldn’t mind but we paid for a certain experience and expected to get our money’s worth in terms of what was advertised and simply didn’t.”
“Great little spontaneous camping trip for myself, my boyfriend and our dogs. It was a perfect space and nice and private! Joe was a considerable host and was very hospitable and got to greet us while on our stay. The dogs loved it there and we all really enjoyed ourselves. We will definitely be coming back here soon!”
“Joe is an amazing camp keeper!! We found the campsite clean and well organized. He provided us with plenty of firewood and potable water, which he refilled when needed. He loves dogs so we were happy to take our pup with us. He is also easily reachable by phone, or just by walking to his house which is close to the campsite. Overall, we had a great experience!! The campsite is not as isolated as we initially hoped for - it is just off the road and there are houses nearby so during the day you could hear cars passing by and noises from the neighbors, however it turned out to be handy as we could easily load and unload our car and come and go for hikes. We definitely recommend this campsite and we hope to be back soon!”
“A nice weekend getaway if you're looking to unplug and soak in the beauty of nature. There are beautiful trails nearby to explore and Woodstock is always a fun pit stop on the way. We had a rocky start communicating with the hosts due to the lack of cell service. This may also be attributed to the fact that we didn't realize the number provided was a landline rather than a cell phone. Regardless, the view was beautiful; the site was generously stocked with wood, toilet paper and bug spray. Oh - and don't forget to bring cash if you're looking to use the second tent. We may have overlooked this additional fee in the listing.”
