“The site was clean and as pictured but what they don’t show is how close to the road this site is. You literally turn off the road and you are on the camp site. When at the fire, you see and hear cars pretty close. Doesn’t give you that secluded feel as other sites.”
“A perfect retreat to forest bathe and reconnect with nature, not far from the conveniences of modern civilization. Campsite is in a WIFi network dead spot - FYI, but is’t that we go camping in the first place (to disconnect and detox)? Joe was a super host, and was there to greet us when we arrived at the campsite as a kind courtesy.”
“Joe was a very hospitable host and made sure to explain everything at the site which was helpful. The site is close to where you can park and near the road. The pond is accessible from the very well maintained site. Joe mentioned the possibility of bears but we didn’t see any fortunately. We loved the hammock and the covered picnic table was a huge help in the rain. The memory foam mattress was an amazing way to end our nights! We highly recommend the site.”
“Great stay! Joe was very helpful and accommodating. He checked in to make sure we have everything and provided additional water/ refilled torches if needed.
The location is beautiful, with lots of trails close by. There’s also a beautiful river and reservoir not far.
The connection is unstable in the area, so be sure to save directions to your nearby destinations beforehand.”
“Joe was a very friendly and attentive host. The campsite was exactly as described had everything we could need. We really appreciated the ample firewood that lasted us the two days, hand washing station and potable water. There was room for 3 separate tents and we all slept comfortably. Highly recommended it's also close to a lot of fun things to do!”
