Great campsite as we were first time users of Tentrr. The hammock was a definite family favorite. We were able to bring an additional hammock to hook up as well as another tent. Plenty of space for all! Joe was friendly and helpful! This site is close to a road which was not an issue for us at all. Overall a great stay and positive experience with Tentrr!

This is a nice location, right at the edge of a very scenic pond nestled in the Catskills. Joe is a kind host and knows the area well. This is a good option if you have no experience camping or want some convenience added to your trip outdoors. The reason I'm giving this three stars only is that, while it's a nice location, I don't think it's worth the $150+/night it costs to stay here. The tent and amenities are not the nicest - there were many gaps in the floor so bugs could easily get in. The door to the toilet didn't close all the way, and there's quite a bit of noise from the road nearby during the day (less so at night). The bed is also uncomfortable. It's not really a 'glamping' experience, more like a tent setup for campers with limited gear/experience who would prefer a bit more privacy than a typical campground can offer.

Unfortunately, the campsite is very close to the road and took away from the experience we were looking for. The other reviews stated that there is the occasional vehicle, but during our stay, it was pretty busy.

What a wonderful little site right off of the road! We had a wonderful time here and the host was very welcoming and thoughtful. Everything was clean and prepared for us when we arrived. You hear a bit of noise from the road but not too much. We got to explore around Phonecia and Woodstock which are only a short drive away. I would recommend staying at this site!

We had a wonderful weekend at yankeetown pond. Joe was such a gracious host and such a kind man. The View from the tent is spectacular. The area is very private despite being a few yard from the road and the fire pit was big and met our expectations. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is this is a no fuss site. The Shower is in the wide open and it was a bag of freezing cold ("solar heated") water hanging from a tree. And while this is expected to some extent, the bed was an air mattress and no bedding. it just didn't seem to be a 150+/night kind of site and is more of a Camping experience then a Glamping one. I just feel this is worth noting. However, I want to say that we really enjoyed our time here and might even book again in the fall. The hammock is the perfect place to polish off that book you been meaning to finish and the area is big enough to invite your friends who have their own tent to come and camp with you, so maybe it will be a little more cost effective if you bring some friends along.

My husband and I stayed here for our 1 year anniversary, and had a great time! We had gotten a later start than we had planned and had to change our arrival time several times, and our host was more than accommodating and quick to response. He had a fire already burning for us when we arrived, and even included a complementary bottle of wine since we had a 2 night stay! Other reviews commented on how close this site is to the road. It is somewhat close, but honestly you only hear the cars here and there during the day and I didn’t find it distracting at all. And you can’t really see the road from the site anyway. The whole stay felt very isolated and private. At night, ZERO noise. I couldn’t believe how quiet and peaceful it was! Firewood was also supplied and replenished throughout our stay, which was a nice touch. Would definitely stay here again!

Loved this campsite! Joe and his son were very hospitable and made sure we were all set for the weekend. They started the camp fire and stove for us before getting to the site and the bottle of wine is such a sweet touch. The area is peaceful and surrounded by beautiful nature but still close to downtown Woodstock and Overlook Mountain. Will be coming back again! Thank you!

Joe and his son are amazing campkeepers! They suggested great hikes, restaurants to eat at, and overall gave us a wonderful experience! The site was very clean, well prepared, and in a great location right near a beautiful pond. The site is also near really cool towns such as Woodstock and Phoenicia. I would definitely stay here again!
