“Joe's Yankeetown Pond was a great getaway from wary NYC dwellers. Joe was so accommodating and helpful to us when we showed up unequipped. The site is well prepared although I wish it was situated further away from the road and had a clearer view of the pond. Overall, it was ideal last-minute trip just an easy bus ride from Port Authority -> Woodstock, then a 10 minute car ride from the center of town. Thank you, Joe!”

His site was beautiful - situated in a perfect location from Woodstock - tons of great restaurants/shops only a few minutes away. Many hikes, swimming holes, antique, flea markets nearby. “A PERFECTLY clean (really) campsite in a beautiful part of New York. A three minute drive from well-maintained, easy hiking in a state park, and a well-stocked campsite. Joe was an extremely thoughtful host, and we're so grateful for the glorious first introduction to Tentrr! I highly recommend him for any first time campers (my wife was a first timer, and now she can't wait to camp again).
The only note I'd make is that the site is close to a road, so if you have a dog that likes to roam or an aversion to hearing the cars, that's a reality. HOWEVER if you're a little unnerved about the woods in general, knowing you're safe to a mildly busy road will be a huge comfort. It's not too visible from the site.”

“We had an absolute blast at Yankeetown Pond Peace of Mind! Joe's directions were spot on and easy, we had all the info we needed, and got to say hi just as we arrived. We drove up to what seemed like our own private hideaway, exactly as pictured - with amazing views of the Yankeetown Pond. The site has everything you need (Don't forget pillows & blankets though!). Woodstock was a sweet little town, with loads of shopping and really great food (Tinker Taco was A++++). However, we chose to spend most of our time on site - reading, playing cards, cooking over the fire and enjoying our perfect weekend away (much needed wedding planning for me and the FH). Thank you Joe and Tentrr - we'll definitely be back!!”
“My husband and I celebrated our first anniversary on Joe's campsite. Joe was a great and welcoming host. The site was nicely situated - you can easily drive up onto the site to load/un-load etc. No extra hike or walk to the tent area. It's super close to a lot of activities (hiking, fishing etc.) and great restaurants/shopping in the Woodstock area.
