“Magestic campsite! Host was very responsive and helpful. Location was ideal, near everything! Make sure you take bedding and a good bug spray. Definitely a fun first experience camping! Excited to do this more often!”
“we had a wonderful time at the campsite. it was secluded and peaceful but not far from great hikes, swimming holes and kayaking. we brought our dog and the campsite was great because there was low old stone wall that basically surrounds the campsite and gave him a good boundary. our only complaint was the squeaking bunk beds. if you’re a lite sleeper or need absolute quiet, bring some ear plugs.”
“Beautiful place, surrounded by nature. Nature music is incredible here. The tent is very confortable. The location is perfect and very nearby you can find Woodstock, Opus 40, some river holes, lakes, etc... it was a great experience. Brooke was great! She gave us great indications and attended all our requests. 100% recommended!”
“Tammy's property was absolutely gorgeous! Unfortunately while we stayed it rained pretty much the whole time but even in the rain, it was unbelievably beautiful. The site is right at the top of a hill in a field so you get a great view of the Shawangunk Ridge, at night you can hear the coyotes yipping, during the day the chickens clucking from her farm. You're very secluded so the site is nice and private. She left the most INCREDIBLE apricot jam for us, and we dropped by her farm market (Wright's Farm Market) right down the road and had the best peaches I've ever eaten. Can't wait to visit again!”
“Fantastic site and host! Everything was better than expected.
Our host Brooke provides firewood, ample water, two lanterns and excellent directions to the site. Great hammock as well.
Lovely wooded area that feels secluded yet only a few minutes drive away to Woodstock ( and some great breakfast places).
Great spot for family car camping ( it was our first camping trip with kids).
We brought pretty strong bug repellent - and were pleased how well it worked (no bug bites in a wooded area). and we checked for ticks every few hours as well. .”
