Adirondack Magic! My boyfriend and I stayed here Sept 23-26 and we had the most beautiful weather. Warmed up during the day, chilly at night, but we brought extra heavy blankets which worked perfect, didn’t even need the wood burning stove. Kitchen came with more than we thought! Brought our tea kettle which came in handy. Easy to cook and clean up was not bad either! I’d recommend grabbing extra water and wood, we used the water for washing dishes in the red basins, and for showering with the camp solar shower everyday so it went fast. Also grabbed two extra bags of wood, there was one bag to start us off which was great. The toilet set up honestly was great! They have a cute curtain strung up if you’d like privacy, and there were plenty of extra bags to reline the bucket. Fire pit is perfect, we gathered our own kindling from around the site, and brought dryer lint as fire starter, but there were fire starter bricks if needed. We brought our hammocks and straps and picked a few good trees to string them up which was a great addition to the experience. I’d bring extra lanterns, the two we had came in handy. Packed a larger cooler with food and ice and kept all our food and any scented belongings in the orange box a few feet away. No problem with any wildlife, so many chickadees and chipmunks that come to visit. At night we heard some wild dogs howling off in the distance which was really cool! Camp is about a mile up from the property owners home, so you’re nice and secluded, surrounded by nothing but beautiful nature! What really made our experience special were the wonderful family that own this property. Adam, the camp keeper, and his father Mike were so welcoming and accommodating. They’d drive us up to site whenever we needed, and Adam was easy to reach if I had any questions. Cell service is good up at the site by the way. The walk down is easy, took us about 15 minutes. We also made fast friends with the family dog Gnars, who comes to greet you when you arrive. We love dogs and he is such a good boy. One night he surprised us with a visit up at camp after we had just finished making dinner, and enjoyed sitting beside the fire with us. Adam had to come get him as it was dark, but he was an absolute pleasure to have for a visit! Between the beautiful colors of the trees, the incredible view, and the wonderful family that chose to share this with us, this Tentrr was an amazing experience that we look forward to coming back to. Thank you again Adam, Mike, and Gnars!

We had the pleasure of meeting both Adam and his father. They were very gracious, helpful, and welcoming. We were optimistic of doing some hiking in another area until we got to this site. Any desire to leave quickly dissipated. We ended up staying put and fully enjoying the majestic views. We were fortunate to observe Sunrises and Moon rise. These combined experiences were surely some of the best sights I have gazed in my lifetime. The site itself was lacking nothing and needed nothing more. The sky and low light pollution gave way for some amazing stargazing. There are many great small details that made the experience quite awesome, from the Sun shower, dim solar lights around the perimeter to the heat reflecting low stone wall at the fire pit. The site seemed thoughtfully setup to provide as much comfort as possible. I have done some traveling in my lifetime and this particular site was placed exactly where it needed to be. I cannot express how comforting and amazing our visit was. The escape of city noise to this secluded gem was more than we expected. Again, thank you for sharing your land to allow others to enjoy. It is greatly appreciated, and the memories will last a lifetime. I honestly can’t wait to return. Don’t change a thing the site is magnificent!

Chill hill is truly a beautiful place to camp/glamp. The hosts are incredibly hospitable and the views are incredible (especially at sunrise). My fiancé and I had a special trip at chill hill and can’t wait to return!

We loved our stay at Chill Hill! The campkeepers were very helpful and attentive. The view is unbeatable! We enjoyed many relaxing hours in the hammock and drinking coffee on the Adirondack chairs. We can't wait to come back.

I can't say enough about the family that owns the site. All of them were gracious and available if you needed a ride up the mountain. The views were amazing and the site provides just about everything except the food. This includes everything you need to prepare and serve meals, stove with gas, tools, bedding. I WAY over packed! I'd bring an extra water jug since there's no running water/electricity. You do have cell phone service on the mountain.

Best. campsite. ever. The view is spectacular (sunrise is a must). The amenities were way more than we’d imagined - a fan, stove, privacy screen, cute lighting. Overall a wonderful experience with great hosts!
