“The location has gorgeous scenery and breathtaking sunset/sunrise views. The secluded hilltop gives you complete privacy. There's very little light pollution so nighttime is perfect for stargazing. Site is as described with all mentioned amenities except the wood stove which the owner informed us upfront with the booking confirmation. Bunk has 2 queen air beds that needed some inflating but even then made quite a bit of noise with anyone twisting/turning so we decided to use the popup tent next day instead for a much comfortable sleep.
The town is a 10 min drive and has a low key vibe. The owner gave some great to-do suggestions before hand and were useful tips. There's no good hike, if you're into that, so we ended up driving north to Bouchoux trail which turned out a lot of fun.
Overall, the experience is completely worth it and would recommend 100% to anyone.”
“Thank you, Arthur and Patti for this perfect place. Views are outstanding, the sire itself is well-maintained, clean, and fully stuffed with everything required. Besides the tent, two tables (one with sun/rain tent), and a fireplace there is a wood "pond" where you can sit and look at the beautiful view - didn't see this anywhere before. So I spent two perfect days and nights. Was happy cooking there on fire.
The road to the tent is pretty simple, no issues for the short sedan even after the rain. You can easily get there.
A couple of things to mention: T-Mobile signal is sporadically there, so no connection from the tent, but you can temporarily get 5G by just walking around.
The place is not far away from civilization, so you will hear the road and even see it from the top of the hill.
I was there when at some house down the hill there was a party with very loud music till around 11 pm, not a big deal, but it's for sure not the place with only forest and night sounds.
