“My wife and me had a absolutely amazing stay at the Fire Watch Meadow.
Everything was amazing, and we enjoyed literally every single second. It was very peaceful and secluded with an amazing silence and view over the valley.
Frank, the host, had made a great setup and was super helpful with questions and know the area very very well and can guide you to the local spots that only a local would know.
We fully recommend a stay at Fire Watch Meadow, and please do not forget to grab a breakfast at Russels General store in Bovina - That was the most authentic place and the best Bacon, Egg and Cheese sandwich I have had ever.”
“What a great experience. We took the kids here for one of their birthdays. Frank the owner was very informative and helpful. The campsite was exactly as advertised. All we had to bring was a few extra sleeping bags and food. Frank really had everything else taken care of. He has a lovely property with a pond that you can use. He also has set up a hiking trail. If you are considering camping in this area I would be sure to book here.”
“Campsite and hosts were wonderful. This site is very secluded with beautiful views of the mountains surrounded by hiking trails and a short distance to the cutest, turn of the century, town. Everything we needed was provided which made our trip from NYC very easy. The trickiest part is driving up the dirt road, but 4 wheel drive assisted with that. The hosts were extremely responsive and thoughtful and made our experience as easy as possible. This was our first Tentrr experience and it couldn’t have been better, we will definitely be back.”

“We got to the campsite late due to the Manhattan traffic. But Frank was only a phone call away to welcome us and answered all the questions and help we have regarding the place. The campsite is fabulous and even more lovely the next day in daylight. Frank and Terry also let us took a hot shower because at their fabulous place which is a nice hike from the camp site. I could never ask for a more friendly and accommodating camp keeper. Will definitely come back to this serendipitous place. Tip: Take a four wheel drive up to the mountain top.”
