“The campsite was beautiful and included many amenities (grill, tongs, charcoal, newspaper, firewood, s'mores kit, hammock, toilet paper, hand sanitizer). While the hosts left their phone number to contact, there is no cell service/internet in the area. Would recommend they consider a way of communication in case of emergency and/or provide their address if they live nearby. We didn't know where to leave the trash at the end of our stay, but otherwise we had a great time!”
“We had an amazing time at this property. We accidentally drove past the sign for The Perch the first time but we found it fine after that. The tent and the air mattresses are spacious and nice. The view is absolutely phenomenal. There was a hammock and a smores kit with some local brochures. There were many thoughtful things there such as toilet paper, newspaper, fire starters, firewood, lots of water, etc. The shower bag was not there. We found the tree with the hook for it, but not the showerbag. It wasn't a big deal for us anyhow because we were camping and I'm sure the hosts would have resolved it immediately had I messaged them but I didn't have service. We couldnt get the woodstove to stay lit no matter what we tried. The candles were a little too low to light but this also was not really a problem. Thank you for a wonderful stay! The most beautiful experience you could have, highly recommend”
“The Perch was amazing! Beautiful views and such a great location right by Woodstock (great town) and close to Killington too! Susan and David were great. One thing, google maps and Waze GPS do NOT work to get you to the right place for the Perch. It leads you to the wrong house well down the road (Google Maps even has a Tentrr - The Perch marker there!), luckily a kind house owner pointed us in the right direction. Do not trust your GPS, look at the house numbers on the mailboxes to be sure you are in the right place!”
“Wow. Just wow. The Perch was absolutely incredible. We stayed during peak or near peak fall foliage and this stunning campsite gave all the dreamy views. The campsite is well-appointed, there was ample dry wood for our campfire, and the hosts are super nice and thoughtful. Do yourself a favor and book this site! We can't wait for our next trip!”
