“My husband and I visited last year with our dog for a weekend to celebrate our anniversary. This was our first tentrr experience and we loved the convenience of camping without the extra time spent setting up tents and camp. This campsite is secluded in a field right on top of a mountain with beautiful views. The campfire is situated so you’re viewing right out across the other peaks. We actually saw paragliders jumping off of the mountain across the way. Perfect clear sky views for star gazing at night. The field was very private and I don’t think we saw one tick on ourselves or our dog the whole time, which is impressive. We had plenty of TP and firewood for our stay. They even have an extra shed set up that can be used for storage. You drive your car right up to the site which is convenient for storing food at night. This is a perfect spot to just get away from it all and enjoy yourselves and nature. You won’t find better views than this site.”
“The view was absolutely amazing and the grounds were very well kept. Plenty of firewood, everything we needed was there. Would love to come back here again.”
“An amazing spot. Talk about a view! My first experience with Tentrr and excited to use it again. We went during that tropical storm, but still managed to mostly stay dry and cook our food on the campfire. The way up to the campsite was clearly marked, even though we got there in the dark. Appreciated the provided bedding, lantern, firewood and starter.
The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars due to the site needing a bit of maintenance . When we arrived our tent was leaking quite a bit. Granted, it had been hailing and it was down-pouring pretty hard. It rained all weekend but we put a sleeping bag over the bedding and stayed mostly dry. There was also a wasps nest in the outhouse and one between the netting and canvas of the tent. They left us alone but a person with allergies may have an issue.”
“Stunning views! I highly recommend this place, its secluded with incredible mountain views!! There is a ton of land to explore, go on a trail, play games, relax, etc. They also had a grill which is of great convenience. The place was clean and well kept. Again, must go visit for just the views!! Thanks for the great trip!”
“I had wonderful stay here. Everything was in order, as per how it is stated in the write up for the site. Nancy has quite a nice, comfortable set up here. There was a minor issue with communication and the location of a source of "potable water". Thankfully it was only a short drive into town to pick up water and more ice Otherwise it is a wonderful site, with a multitude of convenient amenities included.”
