“Amazing! We had the best time at Nancy's campsite. We pulled up to the site and immediately felt relaxed. The view is incredible, and the site has everything you could want or need. We had a pretty major storm come through that evening, but were dry and cozy in the tent. Everything dried up super quickly the next morning, and we were back relaxing by the fire. Thanks, Nancy!”
“My boyfriend and I (plus our labradoodle) stayed at Mountain View for one night and we absolutely loved it. This was our first time using Tentrr, so we were a little unsure of what to expect. Nancy had everything covered for us and provided all the essentials plus some great recommendations for near by activities, hiking and restaurants. Great for anyone looking to get some outdoor time in but still be close enough to enjoy restaurants and local breweries. We will definitely be visiting Mountain View again.”
“Nancy and Rolf's campsite was beautiful, and the views were spectacular. They were responsive and friendly. They provided bedding, and had an outhouse, which was really nice. Also, there are a ton of great wineries, breweries, and orchards in the area, check them out! Minnewaska state park, also nearby, had nicely maintained trails. I did the loop around the lake for a short (2 mi) hike in the morning.
There were other comments about the hill being tricky to get up. I was driving a RWD convertible, and the ground was wet, and I had no issues whatsoever. So don't sweat the hill. Would certainly recommend the site!”
“What an incredible view, it did not get old the whole time we were there! Blankets were warm, and they provided some essentials like a flash light, fire starters, plastic utensils, hand sanitizer, etc. I would bring own drinking water though. We appreciated the outhouse for privacy. We will definitely book again!”
“We had the most special day, night and morning at this campsite and wished we had booked a second night! The campsite was well equipped with bedding, firewood, disposable utensils and toilet paper. But we did go through all the firewood including a bundle of our own, so be prepared to bring plenty if you plan to cook over the fire. Cozy tent with a beautiful view of the rising sun. We will be sure to come back!”
“Incredibly property and beautiful view! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and greatly appreciated the extras that Nancy provided such as sheets, firewood and plates. There is actually a second small shed that they built with another mattress in it so it is great for a group of four. Incredible hikes nearby such as Sam's Point and Gertrude's Nose. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get away for a weekend and get in some spectacular hiking.”
“What a gorgeous site for a campsite. All the promised necessiities were there at the site, providing for a "Let's get started" camping experience! We brought our own paco pads as not fond of blow up mattresses, and they give you the chance of sleeping under the stars on the deck if you wish! Would definitely choose this site again. Thank you to the campkeepers for thinking of "everything" for a nice experience!”
