“A first time experience that will always be remembered. Peaceful, tranquil and breathtaking. The view of the mountain was awesome. The only issue we had was, the water container had dirty water, good thing we had our own. Bring your own solar shower. But other than that we would recommend and do it again.”
“The site was great! Just like the pictures! Really nice view, wide open and very private. I might only recommend that the driveway/small road to the site, be marked from the main road a bit more clearly. It was hard to see from the car, driving on an unfamiliar road and GPS was a little in-and-out....”
“Perfect first time camping trip with two young kids. View was amazing and so were the stars! Easy to find and we could drive in and out. Everything we needed was provided. Warm bedding and blankets. Outdoor toilet and additional queen bed inside wooden structure great bonus. Plenty of drinking water. We look forward to returning in near future. Kids had a blast! “Excellent clean and well supplied campsite. Nancy was very responsive to communicate with. This was the perfect first camp for our young kids. Easy drive in, nice family hikes nearby and large fields to run around in at the campsite.”
“Mountain View was an amazing campsite. Nancy and Rolf were super kind and generous hosts, they hooked us up with some cups, an onion, an air mattress for our 6 year old, and a pump. Magnificent view. Great hiking in the area, we went to Sams Point, and to Mohonk Reserve trails. We got rained on but still had a blast. thanks Nancy and Rolf you guys rock!!!”

“Great camp spot and wonderful hosts! This was my first Tentrr and I was really happy with my experience. Accommodations were great and accurately described. The tent was cozy and comfortable. Rolf and Nancy were easy to communicate with and get any questions answered.
The stars were beautiful at night! Unfortunately had a foggy morning so we missed out on the entire view but it was still pretty with the fall foliage. Only wish we could've stayed longer! Would recommend hiking at Minnewaska State Park nearby.”
