“This site had everything-- gorgeous views, open fields, fully stocked and very clean. Even though it got cold at night, we were quite warm with the woodstove. The town of Ellenville was quaint and pleasant, and easy to get to. We also enjoyed the proximity to great hiking, and opted for the Lemon Squeeze at Mohonk Mountain house.”
“Nature therapy! This camp site is the perfect oasis of nature, beauty, and tranquility. This is the perfect spot if you want to escape form the chaos of our busy world. I heard no cars or any signs of civilization. The tent was spacious and clean and had everything I could have wanted. I will definitely be back!”
“We had the BEST time! The property is gorgeous and they had everything we could possibly need. Rolf and Nancy were amazing hosts we are already planning our next visit! We woke up with the sunrise to find wild turkeys near by also taking in the beautiful view. It was just perfect.”
“Great campsite! It was a good combination of remoteness and closeness to downtown. Which helped because on our second night, it was raining so we couldn't cook via fire. My husband and I highly recommend this location. Waking up to that view was spectacular.”
“Breathtaking setup at Mountain View! The property owners are very kind and have amazing views in their backyard! You definitely need a jeep or a car with 4WD though in order to get up the hill to the campsite, as it is very steep.
Although our tent had the indoor camp stove (which was an amazing plus!), we still were pretty cold at night due to a wild storm that rolled through and the slats of open air between the floor beams of the deck that caused the heat to escape.
We will definitely be booking another trip through Tentrr in the upcoming year!”
“We loved this campsite!! Stayed here for a night and don't think we needed to go anywhere around as the view itself was so beautiful and worth it. The tent setup and amenities provided were bang on and as mentioned. The hosts Nancy and Rolf were very cooperative to our needs and had provided us with all the information to get around. Beautiful setting and an experience of a lifetime! Would highly recommend!!”
“Rolf and Nancy have a great set up! View was awesome and we were visited frequently by a family of white tail deer! We asked Rolf and Nancy if they knew anywhere we could go skeet shooting and sure enough the next day they were outfitting us right there on the property to shoot! We had a blast and they couldn't have been nicer. Tent was in great shape and the wood stove addition was a welcome treat on Sunday morning when it was too cold enjoy our breakfast outside. We will be recommending them for sure.”
