“Holy moly, where do I start?! I came here with my family (5 adults, 5 kids) after months and months of being cooped up, and we had the most amazing time. Amy and George were the perfect hosts, filling us in on the history of the area and welcoming us to roam and explore every bit of their property. They helped us transport all of our stuff down the hill to the site (you park your car at the top of the hill and walk down - it's totally do-able even without assistance, but we definitely weren't gonna say no!). We went on a gorgeous walk around the trails on their property, and Amy gave the kids spooky story books perfect for camping - and was even understanding that we have to mail them back after the 6-year-olds packed them up and brought them home! The real star here, obviously, is the waterfalls. Even with dry conditions causing lower water levels, we spent ALL DAY swimming and playing and splashing around at the campsite. All of the kids (ranging from 6-14) had the time of their lives and were busy and content the entire time. The porta potty was clean and amazing to have with such a large group. The extra tent is separate from the main camping area, so we really only used it as an extra spot for sleeping - but that ended up being soo perfect. There is some road noise at the site, but the site is so incredible, a parade could have marched by and we wouldn't have cared. Amy, George - we can't thank you enough! The memories will last a lifetime and everyone was talking about when we can book again before we even started packing up to leave!”

“We had a great 3 night stay here! Amy and George set up a super clean and convenient camp site, and made sure that we had everything we needed and gave us great activity recommendations in the area. We went hiking at Minnewaska State Park twice (only 20 minutes away), and then relaxed in the falls and hammock at the campsite in the afternoons and evenings. We left feeling incredibly relaxed and rejuvenated. Definitely would recommend it for anyone looking for a way to get away while still distancing!”

“Amy and George are possibly the most warm and welcoming hosts we've ever met! We visited their campsite for our anniversary, and it was such a lovely trip. If you happen to forget anything, they're also more than happy to help you out, so you won't have any worries! The location of the site is very convenient, so if you do need to do a quick run for something, it's very easy. There are also tons of hiking options, including taking a really cool walk along the stream at the campsite - if you have a dog, they'll definitely love it. Amy also gave us a great tip of a tucked away swimming hole at one of the state parks, which was a great find! Amy and George also have really beautiful fields that you can stroll, which is really nice right at sunset. Definitely recommend taking your camping vacation here!!”
